Called and asked if we took Visa. I said, "Yes" and they said "Thank you" and hung-up. Called back about 30 minutes later and asked to talk to someone who no longer works for our company. They asked if I had taken over and then transferred me to someone they said wanted to speak with me. Made it sound like it was a customer who wanted to talk to me. Person launched into their pitch about, "So I understand you credit cards..." I then hung-up on them.

We have them blocked. Called three times in a row. Each time the phone software hung up on them. I love it!

These idiots called our business yet again today at 1556 hours.  When I saw "Prestige Payment", I did as I've done before, which is lift up the phone enough to connect and then immediately put it back down.  I'm tired of trying to get these idiots to stop calling.  The fact that they persist on calling after being expressly told we're not interested is all the hallmark of scam artists in my mind.  So I no longer will waste even my breath for them and will continue picking up and immediately hanging up without saying a word.

They and dozens of others " credit card processors" have been calling my business for years. They are the main reason i bought phones with caller id screens so i know when not to waste my time answering.

I've saved this number to my caller ID under "scam" so if they call again I'll know to ignore it.

Called & asked for the doctor by first name. I said she was with a patient & could I take a message. Just hangs up on me. That is really professional. Can you imagine if I did that to a patient or another person who I called? Yeah , I don't think we are interested in talking with these people.

This company called several times and was playing games with me such as hanging up and press number buttons while I was on the other line. Than I called them back to have them stop calling the lady was completely rude and asked me to ask nicely after I had already said please. This company is a joke!

Called yet again today.  Just hung up on them without speaking to them.  I've told them over and over that I'm not interested in their services, even lied to them once and said it was a residential line, yet they still keep calling.

Asked for me by name. Wanted to know if I accepted Visa or MasterCard. I asked who she was with. She says "one moment please" and hangs up.

They are still calling. I do not answer the calls as I do not accept credit cards, and have no plans on doing so. They did not leave a message.

usually I don't answer unknown numbers, but today I happened to be expecting a call from this area code. Credit card salesman of some sort. the screener asked for me by first name then transferred me to someone else who I assumed would have tried to close the sale. I hung on on the second guy and blocked the number.

These idiots keep calling constantly.  I've told them in the past that we're not interested, to stop calling.  They continued calling.  To me, that's the sign of a scam artist.  They call at least once a week.  Every time they call, I pick up the receiver just enough to connect the call and then put it right back down again.  And still the brain-dead idiots don't get it.  This morning, they immediately called back after my disconnect.  They were instantly disconnected again.  These people are too stupid to live.  As for JD's comment about the do-not-call list not working, it does indeed work but only legitimate companies abide by it.  Also, businesses are not covered by the DNC list.  Only consumers are afforded that protection (though, again, scam artists don't care if you're on a list because they're criminals.)

They continue trying, basically about once a week.  I continue picking up the phone just enough to connect the call and putting the receiver right back into the cradle.  They're too stupid to get the hint.  Maybe it's time to start blowing my emergency whistle into the receiver.  Maybe if I bust a few eardrums they'll finally get a clue but I won't hold my breath.  I consider any "company" who persistently calls, even when asked not to, to be a scam artist.  Legitimate companies you actually might consider doing business with would not be so annoying, rude, or inane.  There's a name for people who won't accept "no" for an answer and continue to try to push themselves on you.
