got a call from a Larae Jones from the office of Gail Jurpgeweit. Wanted to talk to the owner:

Larae: Hello may I speak with _________
me: I'm sorry he's not available.
Larae: Is he in the office?
me: Yes? Why... what is this regarding?
Larae: my name is Larae... spells it: L A R A E, I'm calling from the office of Gail Kurpgeweit. I need to speak with the owner.
me: I'm sorry, he is not availabe, please tell me what this is regarding.
Larae: He'll know.
me: I need to leave a message for him, please tell me what this is regarding.
Larae: He'll know.
me: I'm sorry but I NEED to know what this is regarding before I give him this message.
Larae: He'll know. Just tell him Larae called for Gail Kurpgeweit.
me: Ok... (as I throw the note in the garbage)
Larae: Thank you.. click.

I spoke with the owners. He and his wife have never heard of this person before. I feel like it's a scam. the number was blocked but when I asked her for a phone number she said 916.. oops, sorry I mean 530-626-3356.

Well the BBB was just investigated by 20/20 and found to be a pay for play scam. Anyone can get an A rating from the BBB...as long as they PAY for the privilege. The BBB even rated a neo-nazi skinhead group with an A rating.

I know what they do. They are similar to the IPA company. As a matter of fact a lot of their employees are directly from IPA.

HCMM or Huntington Copper is a scam, it is part of IPA; The stink of John Morris in undeniable. They charge $279 per hour for legit consultants to fill out worthless worksheets. Even if you see a real problem you cannot address it until you have drained all the blood you can.

Whoever is traing these people is way behind the times, they sound parrot monkeys. Treat your employees with respect and you will get better results. I have had no less than 7 different people from this number call me. They all tell the same lies. "The owner will know what this is about", "He asked me to call him back", "Meeting with us will not cost anything it will save you money", We are not selling anything", "We have never had a complaint of any kind". Get real IPA Jr. and stop calling like I have asked over and over.

Had a call from 862-220-4426, and from experience I recognized the tactic.  They got through our "first line of defense" saying they had a business oportunity.  Once they started talking I knew what was happening.  They were going to have a representative in the area, How Interesting.  I said sure come by, because if they're going to waste my time I'll waste theirs.  So I've been waiting for the guy all day, and man was I able to spot him when he walked in the door.  I calmly asked him to come outside with me, and I explained that we would not do business with them.  I explained to him how the owner of the company worked with IPS and SMS and all the other acronymns.  He didn't like it and said his owner left, and they have an A rating with the BBB, and all the other BS.  He asked me why would I draw the conculsion, and I simply told him if the he was trying to be honest and do business in a proper fashion then the tactic would be different.  The tactic is getting old, they need a new one.  Now every time they call I'm going to ask them to come on by, and turn them away.  I have no use for these clowns, but if they're going to get rich off honest people, I'm going to be sure to drive up their overhead

These are some RUDE people.  I have filed a complaint with the BBB as well as the FCC. This dummy Ray Young from the company has the nerve to have his cell phone number on the voice mail... 916-505-4245 what if we call him and be RUDE like he does to us.

These people are a dime a dozen, easy to spot.  "Felicia" from "Bret Tubergen's office" (does not initially give company name until I persist...."HCMM) has called numerous times, and I kindly explain (the first time or two) that my boss does not accept calls of this nature but that I could offer her his voice mail and suggested she leave detailed info and that he would call back if interested.  (Over speaker phone I hear him delete her messages.)  What do ya know....Mr. Bret Tubergen just happened to be in the area yesterday and pops in at the the end of the day and by luck meets my boss at the front counter.  My boss, being a nice guy and not realizing who, what, kindly exchanges business cards with BT (giving away his cell # unfortunately), says "yeah come on back tomorrow".  My boss leaves before the appointed time and with his blessing upon BT's arrival explain to him that we have zero interest and not happy with their solicitation approach.  (Earlier in the day, "Pam" called my boss's cell phone to confirm the appt.).  After BT's departure, I get calls from Candy and Julia, both from HCMM, both acting like they didn't know the other person had called....blah, blah, blah.  WE HAVE ZERO TOLERANCE FOR DISHONEST, MANIPULATIVE PEOPLE

If you want to get rid of their calls, state you are the owner or co-owner and you are not interested. Tell them to never call again and to take yourself off of their lists. They shouldn't call again. They are a business development firm.
