This is a scam call for sure.  What is fun to do with this type of stuff is keep them on the phone as long as you can, acting confused and keep asking clarifying questions making them think you are going to do whatever they want you to do if they can overcome your skepticism.  Give out fake information and just keep them on  the phone, the longer the better.  At least while they are trying to scam you they cant be scamming someone else.

Just received the same call from a male with an accented threatening tone, etc.  Obviously a scam.  Per the I.R.S. any action by them will ALWAYS be by mail.  NO phone calls.

I received a message left on my answering machine from this number today.  The call was from 'Jason' who spoke extremely fast and said that either I or my attorney of record must return this call immediately.  If I did not return the call immediately, he wished me well as 'the situation unfolded'.

I got the very same call today..

i received several calls from 916-744-2480 threatening me and when I mentioned my husband was out of state they said they would track him down and it won't end good.  And that they would be arresting me within the hour.

I received a call today from this number saying that I was going to be arrested tomorrow. He said he was from the internal affairs at the Justice Department working for the IRS. He had an unbelievably convincing story and it was very threatening. Absolutely a scam!

Scam!!!! Asking for someone who used to live here about 10 years ago! Lady talks too fast and not clearly but she wishes me luck if I don't return the call.

Yeah they said they would be arresting me in 30 mins per irs , but I calmed down after reading this

Leave a message saying legal actions will be taken against me.  call h=the number and a moron says Social Security  Administration. LOL, they cannot even stick to a  script. Are you S.S.A or I.R.S.

Didn't say who they wanted. called before 8 ON SATURDAY. Like I keep a pencil and paper in bed with me.
