The bank gave me this number after they took money out of my account. Then they said it was state tax franchise board. B's I think it's the bank and because of the credit card balance I have with them.

It's a legitimate number for Franchise Tax Board in Sacramento CA. The phone number was in a letter I received from my bank about a withdrawal from my account. You'll probably have to wait a long time to get an agent, but they are very polite and professional once you get a human. If you get a call from this number, I wouldn't answer it unless you had previously called them yourself and requested a call back. When I called and requested a call back, the number that actually called me was 916-845-1043, but it was a rep from the tax board.

Please keep in mind that CID information can be spoofed and it’s for this reason people should not assume that a call is legitimate.
