Got a call from this number caller ID says Unknown number.  The man on the other end asked for me by name and introduced himself as a man I bought a carpet from when I was last in Turkey.  I told him I had never been in Turkey (which I hadn't) and he apologized and said he had the wrong person.
Hmmm.  I wonder why he had my name?  
I called the number back and just got a machine asking to leave a message.

same exact experience.   Caller, male, asked for me by name, perfect pronuciation of my last name and introduced himself as a man I bought a carpet from when I was visiting in Turkey.  I told him I had never traveled to Turkey. He apologized and hung up the phone. Given he has done this before, now I wonder what he is trying to scam.

Received a call.  Answered it and it hung up.

Same. Male caller asked for me by my last name and asked about a carpet. When I asked him where he got my name, he apologized and said he got the wrong number. Strange...
