This number called and said that they had to verify my companies google+ account. When I confronted them on why I had to do this when I was already Google verified they hung up. When I tried to call back to get my number removed it would not take any incoming calls. I just wanted to warn other people and companies to BEWARE.

I received a call from 917-264-5566.  This person claimed to be with YP, talking about our internet listing.  But she was NOT.  As far as I know and have experienced, YP sends out account reps, they DO NOT call to verify listing.  They have been calling relentlessly about getting us to pay for 1st page listing on the internet for a fee. A fee that is based on user clicks on our listing.  NO THANKS! Been there, tried that! It is worthless.

Are you sure that you are on the Do not Call List ?

Woman with Asian accent called me from this number, said she was from Google and needed me to verify my company information before my site was posted on Google, Yahoo and Bing ect. Sounded fishy, why would Google call to put my information on Yahoo and Bing? She asked me yes or no questions which I answered by repeating the information back rather than saying "yes." At the end she said there would be a one time payment of $5 for an activation fee. I told her I am supposed to be receiving placement on these search engines for free though Wix.com because of the package I ordered through them. She continued to say it would be free AFTER the one time activation fee. I told her I would have to look into it first. She persisted that I would not be posted on these engines until I paid the fee. I told her again, I would have to look into it and she hung up! NEVER say yes over the phone to these people! Blocking this number!
