    Received this call this morning....Prerecorded message from "whoever" about my Visa and MasterCard accounts, saying that she had been assigned to my account and that I may qualify for their "hardship" program where my cards would be settled for pennies on the dollar.  

    I'm assuming is some kind of debt consolidation scam.  I hung up before the recording finished.  I don't have a MasterCard, and my Visa is up to date and not an issue.

    I received a call as per the other post wanting to consolidate credit cards. I hungup.

    I answer it then hang up, but this the second time this week they have called.  I wish they would be reported as fraud since that sounds like they are trying to give you money.  I did a Chapter 13 and they must think I need money.  Not the case, just budgeting and I'm not to get a credit card while under Chapter 13.

    I also received this call today ( Aug 23, 11) at 1:20pm. I didn't answer due to unknown number. Also, they did not leave a voice mail with me either.

    digital and automated solicitations. Recognized the digital voices and hung up the call. Today just minutes ago. Didn't want to engage in someones deceptive pratices.
