The person is indian asks us to verify someone's employment but won't tell us who he's calling about. Goes on to ask for the info on who answered the call. But we do not give out information on our employees especially when they won't tell us who they are or who they are looking for.

Caller  said they're with FedEx verifying employment and DOT number. Never heard of the employee they're asking about. Then wanted to know who I was etc... scam.

This number calls once a week to "verify" employment. But once we tell him we need signed authorization from the employee they drop the conversation. Definitely spam don't give any information to them.

An Indian man with a thick accent called us three days in a row asking about employment information of a former employee who hasn't worked here in over two years. When pressed about if he had signed authorization from that person he was calling about said he did. We gave him our fax number to send a copy of the written authorization so we could compare signatures and reiterated we could not give out information about employees. After that initial conversation he called the next day and the day after that. both times I immediately hung up.

Caller, Indian accent, keeps calling about former employees from years ago, then asks for all of my personal info "for his documentation". Would not give out info and hung up. Beware. SCAM.

2 calls today on my personal phone hours apart. 1st call used Google call screening. Person said name was Ajay calling from First Advantage to verify employment . When screening asked for more details person hung up. 2 call I answered saying company I worked for and there was complete silence so I hung up. I looked up the company stated in screening and it says it does background check.

Called me 9 times in a row. I never answered. Just kept calling and then I found this. Glad I didn't answer. Blocking!

This number has called our company all week, calls several times a day different person each time and wants employment verification.  Advised them we only do them via fax, gave fax number, then proceeds to ask my personal information.  I don't give out my information if they don't identify their name and company name.

Same thing.  Man with very heavy accent left 2 messages asking about verifying an employee we have never heard of.  Glad I checked here, I will block the number.  Also claiming to be First Advantage.

Left voice message. States that he is Seeno from First Advantage doing background check for FedEx on former employee Bryan Velasco Cruz and asks for callback with case number. The female has a very heavy accent and mostly unintelligible. The male has accent but it's ok with the repeats. One pass and it would be a lost cause to understand anything.

Called our payroll dept asking for employment verification for a person we've never heard of. Stated they were the DOT. Called back to confirm I had the spelling correct but hung up when I heard the hold music and not the usual DOT wait message.

Called my personal phone and left a message asking for employment verification for my husband who works for FedEx.

Just received a call from a woman with a thick accent asking for employment verification. I told her that she needed to contact our office manager and then started asking questions about myself. I refused to give my last name.

Called 4 times in the past 5 minutes. Did not answer.

Lucky for you that others did and now you have an idea who might have called.
