This agency, a farce as I can tell, is posing as US Legal support and scamming money from unsuspecting people.  First it is a fake call from local police with a threat of warrant than it is a varied amount of money to be transferred through Moneygram.  The first amount I was told didn't go through because moneygram had a server error so I sent more money because I was scared of the warrant.  I then sent some more only to realize I amassed almost $700 through the transactions, fees included.  The kicker is that I was told I would receive a refund from Moneygram for the first amount.  Here it is a week later and no refund.

U.S. Legal support that I just wrote about above was working in cahoots with U.S. Financial resources, a supposed customer service branch of the U.S. legal support.  Neither of these firms represent what is being done and they both act like nothing is going on. You are hard pressed to talk the 917 number which for me came up George Eberhardt intially until I started calling more, than voila, the caller ID disappeared.  Money was sent to Paul Vaugh and Boris Roy in AZ.  Be careful also of Chris Hudson wiht US Legal Support and Sarah Thompson or Ken Brown with U. S financial resources.  Their number is 718-425-3157.
If you get a call from them contact the police first than an attorney.  Chances are they are using a skipjack so their number is not traceable.  They say court st. Brooklyn, NY but that is likely somebodys apartment.

OMG! This exact thing just happened to me except I reverse searched the number & found this. The sheriffs dept has no idea what this is & has never heRd of such a thing. This guy Chris Hudson is the one I talked to. He said if I paid 500.00 in one hour it would go away.

Same thing just happened to me. The number was a Police dispatch in Oregon. Glad I found this post or I would of been worrying all day. Had two ( 503 ) numbers call and then The numbers went away!! Was crazy. Always remember guys if someone says you have a warrant call your local police department or Sheriff's office and ask to run you for warrants. They would know from there system no matter if it's in another state!

This Chris Hudson called me today from 917-503-3158. First the Sheriff called that i was to turn myself in at 2.00 tomorrow because there was a warrant for my arrest but then was told to call the 917 number spoke to Chris Hudson who said I had an unpaid amount and if I paid $400.00 via a moneygram no further action would be taken.  I am suppose to receive something in my PO Box tomorrow regarding amount owned.  We will see.   I did call the Sheriff Department number because it did come up on my phone but they knew nothing about it.  Upon speaking to an LA County Sheriff he said most likely a scam.

Debt is civil, not criminal, so there is absolutely no warrant.  Anyone who calls and exerts pressure to pay immediately over the phone, or to "make something go away" should be treated with extreme suspicion.  Oh, and law enforcement is not in the business of debt collection, so they wouldn't be calling you anyway.

BTW, this is a "VoIP - YMax Communications" number - in other words, a Magic Jack number!

This is a total scam.  Being in ordinary civil debt is not a crime and you CANNOT be arrested for it.  Warrants are only issued by local judges to duly constituted law enforcement officers and are only served in hand by duly constituted officers of the law.  Debt collectors cannot get warrants.  Debt collectors have no influence on the criminal justice system in any event.  This is basically an extortion attempt.

    Report them:

http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection  (Threatening criminal prosecution to collect a civil debt is a clear violation of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Act)

Also contact your local attorney general

If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money,  tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.  IF you can find them.

No law enforcement agency will call you and tell you you have a warrant and then tell you to call a private attorney.  Warrants are issued by judges to duly constituted officers of the law and are served in hand by duly constituted officers of the law and they are only used in criminal cases.  No law enforcement agency will tell you to simply pay money to get out of a warrant.  If a warrant is issued, it will be served on you.  Period.

Of course, there is no warrant.  This Chris character is engaging in outright extortion.  Do not contact him . Ignore and block this guy's calls if he calls you again.

This is the damnest debt scamming operation I've ever seen.  Doesn't this guy Chris know about the internet?  Apparently not.

    See:  http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0258-fake-debt-collectors

This might be some sort of Indian or Pakistani scam.  No idea where these    people are calling from.  The overseas scammers will sometimes spoof local police departments or sheriff's department numbers and threaten people with arrest if they don't pay this or that phony debt.

If in doubt call your local law enforcement from their advertised number.

I received a call from them yesterday(12/11/15) too. They claimed that a warrant would be issued for me by 2pm the next day(12/12/15). Knowing that I have done nothing wrong, I asked what the warrant was for. They said that they couldn't tell me that but that I would receive a letter the next day by 11am and arrested by 2pm. I was told that I needed to pay $1,112.47 over the phone right now and the warrant would be lifted. If not the amount including court fees and BAIL would go up to more than $2000. When I pressed them about what this "lawsuit" was about they would only say that it was about credit fraud and deception. LMAO...ironic huh? The sheriff's call kinda scared me though. So I wanted to know how hard it was to fake a call like that. I went in my phone's app store and found a spoofing app and in less than 2 minutes I faked a call to my wife with a friends number...FOR FREE! They need their [***] kicked thoroughly.
