I believe that it is a number automated for 500 Fast Cash. Another number that comes up with same automated message is 918-442-0317 and they ask you to call back 1-800-404-8679 or 1-800-404-8835.

I have told this company that they are calling the wrong number.  When I asked to speak with a supervisor, they put me on hold and never came back.  This is a collection company.

Try telling them that you are not allowed to receive calls and they may stop calling you, most of the time if you tell them that you will get fired if they dont stop, they may stop, and if that dosent work tell them how your suppose to pay them back of you dont have a job cause they keep calling you. As far as them calling you on your cell phone, try telling them how your suppose to pay them back if they keep calling you on your cell phone and racking up the bills on your cell phone. Explain to them that its much easier for them to contact you via email instead of calling you.

If it's really 500 fast cash then that constitutes as fraud according to FCC regulations. Since they are using a number that is owned by a different corperation.

They do not care they just want their money. And Will continue to harrass until debt is paid. That's why they are predatory loaners.

I just spoke to a very rude gentleman and asked him who he was after he requested i give him my social security number, i told him no way was that going to happen over the phone. This debt that i supposedly owe is from 2007, i asked him to mail me a statement showing what i owed and he refused to that saying they only operated online. I told him that he was bogus and i wish the hell i would send him any of my personal information. I asked him not to call my job anymore and he said that he will call whenever he felt like for how long he felt like it...little does he know I am the receptionist so all calls coming into my place of employment goes through me so he can call all he wants he will just get hung up on hahaha

    Enough is enough
These fudge packers keep calling my work phone looking for someone that isn't here by the name they keep asking for.  When I try to ask for the number they are trying to call or to state they have the incorrect person, I get hung up on as soon as I say "I'm sorry, you have.."

They call every afternoon about the same time.  I just gave up trying to speak to them and just just hit ignore call.  I have a call log going as well as voice recordings of the past 4 weeks, everyday..

It's bad enough getting calls from a debt collector when you owe money, but one scam making its way across the country during the past year or so is the debt collector threatening legal action over nonexistent debts. Consumeraffairs.com has been documenting some of these payday scam cases, and reports details on its website.

The scam debt collector claims to be an attorney representing a payday loan company. The scammer uses words like "theft" and "fraud" to intimidate callers and also calls at hectic hours of the day such as the early morning. One woman who received such a call said the caller directed her to provide authorization to deduct funds from her bank account, a copy or her driver's license and a request to refrain from her immediate arrest.

Another more recent variation on this scam is the caller claiming to be employed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. What is scary about these calls is that the caller already has bank and other personal information about the intended scam victim.

The Internet Crime Complaint Center issued an "intelligence note" in Dec. warning about these scams. They say that the callers are often relentless and become verbally abusive when challenged. In some cases, they have even threatened call recipients with physical harm. IC 3 recommends that anyone receiving these calls report the contact to them, check in with their banks, put alerts on their credit file, and contact local police if they feel threatened.

Some of the companies the payday scammers claim to represent include United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance and U.S. Cash Net.

So far, no one has determined where the scammers are getting bank and other personal information -- including home addresses -- for the intended scam victims. But both IC 3 and consumeraffairs.com note that some of the victims reported having made recent credit applications.

What can you do if a scammer calls you? Hang up. Why let the scammer get his foot in the door?

It also helps to understand the nature of a debt collection action. It's a civil, not criminal, matter. You can't be tossed in jail for owing someone money even when the debt is a valid one. So if a scammer calls and says otherwise, rest assured you're not at risk.

You have other rights when it comes to debt collection under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. These rights include not getting calls before 8 am or after 9 pm and freedom from harassment or abuse including incessant calling, and false representations that failure to pay will result in arrest. But you can't expect a scammer to abide by the law, so the burden's on you to dissuade the scammer by making yourself an unlikely scam victim.

I keep getting calls from this phone number.  I was called by a person claiming to be a server asking me when I'd be home, they needed to serve me.  I then was told it was about a debt ($700) from US Fast Cash and they were suing me and if I didn't pay immediately I would be taken to court and faced a $3k fee/court costs.  I then said I didn't want to have to pay $3k and they reduced the amount they claimed I owed by $200 IF I would give them a $350 "good faith" payment which I did because I did take out the loan but my then bank Wells Fargo who took the payments out of my account never sent the payments TO Fast Cash.  I set up one payment arrangement, they sent me what look like a generic "reciept" but refused to send me anything via snail mail like the BILL?  Now they're calling me yet again because I lost my job and cannot make the last $174 payment.  Are they allowed to serve you for this and if so, is this tactic even legal?
