    "Howard" called me, using his heavy, Indian accent wanting to put my companies name in some sort of fictitious online database.  

    By now, every business person knows these are completely fake so I ignored his scripted ramblings and asked him to repeat his name.  Howard he said, and then continued reading his message to me.  Howard?  Are you sure your name is Howard?  You really don't sound like any Howards' I have ever met.  What is your nickname?  Where are you actually calling from?  Bombay?  Karachi?  

    Unfortunately, Howie was unwilling or unable to answer even one of my questions and before I was able to formulate my next query, the line, mysteriously went dead!
