- ChristineI received a call from this phone #. It rang 2 times then hung up. I didn't know who it was so i googled it and didn't find anything on it, so i decided to call back.
I got a recording that said "Thank you for calling back. If you do not want to hear about our special promotions and would like to be placed on our do not call list, please press 1."
It gave NO other information, such as the name of the "business" or anything else. I was afraid to press anything, so i waited for another option. All it did was keep repeating itself to press 1 if you don't want to receive any more calls regarding their offers. So I just hung up and decided to post on here what I found out about it.
They never did mention who they were.- Caller: Caller recording would not reveal the company
- AndrewI got the same thing too.... I did hit 1 and it ended the call...

- BillyDKiddI started receiving calls from this number today. My cell caller ID states it is from Tulsa, OK. Either hang-ups or goes directly to my voice-mail.
- chocolateCalled home and cell phone- just left a message to call. No company, no persons name, no location,
Does anyone call these people back?- Caller: ???
- VitaI am so sick of these companies sending me text messages and calling my cell phone. I don't know who these people are, and it is sickening that I placed my phone on the Do Not Call Registry and they are still bothering me. I don't know the name of the company.
- n/aI got a call from this number 6 times just today on my cell phone. I have been getting these calls for a week now 2 to 5 times a day. I am on the DNC list to but the problem is these numbers can get through that and still call you which is BS. I was able to look up the company and found another number for them. I had called them and talked to a real PERSON and told her exactly what was going on and said to be taken off the call list. She said she could and than told me that I should not be receiving anymore calls from that number. I told her that if I do and in the quantity that I did I was going to call back to talk a supervisor and ask him for all his info and push harassment charges. So I will see what comes of this and see if this really worked. But it is a real company and they are out of OK.
- craftyladyIts 9 am and I have received two calls from this number. I have been getting them all week!

- KenM| 2 repliesHere's the problem with the Do Not Call List. The law says that they companies have 1 freebie. That means they can legally call you and claim that your number wasn't on their list. Once you've specifically told them to add your number to their list, THAT'S when they should call you again. It appears to be a loophole in the law of which some unscrupulous people are taking advantage.
If you're really ticked off at them, speak with them, lead them on like you're interested in their product. Be nice. The more time you spend on the phone with them, the better. Then, tell them you're not interested and to be added to their do not call list. That way, you've wasted their time which they could have been using to sucker someone into purchasing their illegally promoted product.- Caller: Unknown

- kate replies to KenM| 1 replyKen: fine, but the problem with that suggestion is that my time is more valuable to me than the benefit of wasting theirs, you know?
As a sort of funny aside, if you listen through the message, "Ben from education success" wants to help me get a college degree......I have a PhD....uh, thanks, Ben!
:)
I hate spammers - whistle while u work replies to kateWell the govt won't do anything about this, obviously, so just take matters into your own hands.
When you get one of these subhumans on the phone, give them a good BLAST with a whistle. Whistle costs a few bucks at a sporting goods store and it's a great investment.
Nothing says STOP CALLING FOREVER like the whistle. - ChrisThink I've gotten 95 calls from this #--(well, maybe not that many ;-))--and get hangups--very annoying... I'm on DNC also, I don't want to waste my time chasing them down to tell them not call, but may need to if this continues...
- LolaJust got a call from these people (7:29 east coast time). on the caller ID it said "AED". When I picked up the phone, there was nothing, just dead air. I grabbed my whistle and blew, even though there was probably nobody on the other end.
- Caller: AED
- ChristineI received a lot of phone calls from another number like this, but the other phone # was legit selling newspapers, despite that their phone calls were unwanted day and night, even on a Saturday. I called back and asked for the name and home phone # of the supervisor, including his cell phone #, so that I could call him up day and night. They refused to give me the supervisor's personal phone numbers. I then asked for their personal phone #'s. I explained that if they have the right to do this to me, then I should have the right to call them nonstop and harass them too.
