I have been getting calls from this number no message is ever left and Im sick and tired of it

I have received numerous phone calls from this company saying they represent a magazine distributor with whom I allegedly bought four magazine subscriptions and didn't pay.  They say I now owe them $649 since 2006 but they would settle for $350.  I asked what magazines did I order?  They said, Rolling Stone, Maxim, Sporting News, and Car and Driver.  Anyone who knows me would say I would not have any interest in any of these magazines and have never seen a single issue, nor have I ever placed an order for such subscriptions.  I tried calling the number back that called me last night and all I got was "press one for English."  I did.  Then it would repeat this each time and eventually just hang up.  There is something fishy about this whole scam.  After some research, I did find the number listed above and tried calling it, but got no answer.  Can someone look into this and help me stop these harassing phone calls.

My experience last night was nearly identical to 'over60'. Including the same dollar amount, phone number, and message when I called back. Except I was told I would only have to pay $250 dollars to settle.  What a deal!!!! I am seriously considering a lawsuit, definetely if this ends up on my credit report, which I am keeping a close eye on. If anyone has any info on who, where, and how to contact these obvious scammers, please reply!

I have been getting numerous calls from this number almost every day of the week. They have not left a message on my answering machine every time they have called. My best suggestion is to get new number or just keep ignoring their annoying phone calls.
