I got a call from this too. Didnt leave a message... weird

Left a 4 second message of dead air

Yep, I received it too. Could hear someone typing and breathing, but they never said anything.

Asked for.the manager of a company I used to work for that's out of businesses

I recieved a call at work all they wanted was to speak with the business owner when I asked regarding what they said a free giveaway but would not say what company they were.

Received a call from this number. A woman spoke in something that sounded like an African language, I heard a few buttons being pushed and then she hung up.

Received a call, did not answer it. They left a voice mail but when I listened to it, all I could hear was "babbling voices" in the background

Same...answered phone and no one was there.

Keeps calling, hear babies also in background of voicemail but no message ??
I just Blocked the #, what a [***] waste of time & minutes.

CallerID showed "Oklahoma City OK." Caller had a heavy East Indian accent, claimed to be from "Federal Financial Group" and that I would be eligible for "a 42" flat-panel TV, $3500 in cash, or a Ford Explorer" in return for answering three simple questions. Lots of background call-center-type noises.

I suspect a scam that aims to get your bank account number so they can use it to move funds.

Called ID showed "IMS" and the caller asked to be transfered to the office manager. When I asked who was calling he said his name was Chris and that he was calling from "Federal Financial Group". When I told him the office manager was unavailable, he asked for the ceo. I told him that the ceo was also unavailable at the moment and offered to transfer him to voicemail, he hung up. They call at least once a week.

no answer or reply. silence.

caller asked for manager; when I asked what it was regarding he said scratch card giveaway.

They continue calling our home. They ask to speak to business owner. I tell them that this is a residence and they immediately hang up the phone. Of course they just called when I get my baby down for a nap and now I get to listen to her cry herself back to sleep! Aarrrgghh!

Got a call from them saying that they would send me a gift card if I answered some questions.  The questions were very, very personal.  Never got gift card.

Yeah he asked for my manager first then when I asked what the call was regarding, he said it was for a Branch Card Business giveaway. Caller ID says it's from an IMS. As I always screen calls, I posed as the manager and said that I don't believe we applied for any sweepstakes. He said our number has been "selected" to win one of 3 things, a Ford Explorer, etc. I don't remember the other 2 but when I said we aren't interested, he hung up.

P.S. Voice sounded wierd as if it had been digitally altered, it had a metalic sound to it, wierd.

Pretty sure it's a scam, boss said he got a similar call last year.

All I had to do was ask 3 simple questions, but I didn't bother as I figured it was a scam to get personal information for identity theft.

Finance company.  i ahve them to remove my number numerous times.

They called my cell phone.  I missed the call and tried to call back.  I just a get a recording that is very broken, like a cell phone getting bad reception.  I called twice trying to hear the message better, but that is just how it is recorded.  The company is IMS claiming to do some kind of financial services.  There is supposidly a way to be removed from the call list, but when I went to do so I was told the mail box was full.  Reported the number to the do not call list.  They call once a month it seems.
