I have had a similiar experience with another company , trying to collect on a pay day loan. I am getting calls daily from  this number 918-442-9158, but they don't leave any messages. I was  threatened by a different collection company for the same reason and I did contact the NYS Attorney General and I was advised-this company is not a law firm, can not sue you, can not arrest you, can not file charges against you,all they can do is try to scare you into paying. I did file a complaint against the other company and it is being investigated because they can not threaten you with arrest for check fraud and other charges. So please...anyone reading this, do not pay them anything until you have done further research..ask for a copy of the original loan documents and I can guarantee they won't be able to supply them to you! Also I would strongly suggest, if you can...to record your phone conversation with them-if you plan to pursue further with the Attorney General in your area!

They call everyday & do not leave a message - they are stationed in Oklahoma - WTF!!!!! They call the work line & home line!!

They call me EVERY DAY. I have talked to my attorney general's office. It is a payday loan company. Tell them to MAIL you all documentation on what "they say you owe." They will tell you that they can't do that -- DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT, give them money. If you did take out a loan, offer to repay the PRINCIPAL AMOUNT ONLY. Check the laws in  your state. In many states payday loans are illegal. KNOW YOUR rights! Investigate. First I would call your state's attorney general office. They will advise you what to do !

They keep calling to a work place looking for a person that is not known and don't understand that there is no one by that name here.

They call and ask for someone at our office but when I ask what they are calling about they never say. They are usually pretty rude. 918-442-9158 called on 4/4 at 4:03pm eastern time.

They call everyday in the morning today they called at night. I don't answer because I don't know the number.

Two calls from this [***] in 2 minutes...cut them off...didn't answer the phone. Don't owe anybody any money...so it's just a harassment scheme .  If he is threatening people, report him to the district attorney in HIS state!  the county and the state!!

They would not tell me their name.  they just keep calling.  I want them blocked.

Before I EVER answer a number I don't know, I always check it on Google first... that way I NEVER  have to talk to anyone like this. Frustrates the heck out of them because they don't know if that is actually your number, or not. Once you answer and you talk with them, then they KNOW it's YOUR number and they'll harass you mercilessly.

Does anyone know if any of these people or companies ever getting prosecuted? It just seems that they break so many laws so very often but nothing happens.

I recieve calls from this number in excess of 3+ times a day.To my knowledge,I do not owe any payday loan companies(in fact,I know I don't). However,it's quite possible I owe some past due medical bills given my heath.(I have kidney disease & have been battling with it for a long time) Years ago,I was told by a lawyer to tell them to"cease & desist any further phone calls".I then asked them to send any requests/info on the matt er to me in writing only. However,when I asked for the original party of my supposed debt along wirh their info(company name,number,my account number,amongst other things) They began screaming at me & I hung up.It seemed to stop,but not for long.They're back at it. Not sure what else to do about it.
