I have received four calls today from this # and heard the message ie: my   phone will not allow calls from this # etc.  on the third call (didn't have my glasses on) I picked up again...receiving the same message.  After the 4th call I tried to call the # back and got the same




I have had 4 calls today from this number.  I have jumped through all the hoops and received the same messages as the folks above.  And, googled myself here, as you all have...I live in

I have received 4 calls today..with all the same results as you folks..I will try calling Wa State corrections to complain and see what happens..wish me luck.

I live in Washington State and have received two calls today (10/17/07) from 919-425-0016.  Since the first rang about twenty times, I answered the second one.  An operator said that if I wished to block further calls from "this inmate," press 7.  I did, and then was told to press 6 "to confirm."  I was afraid to do that, so I waited and was presently cut off.  I called 1-800-844-6591, the number "Frankie" (above) gave for blocking the calls.  It was "Correctional Billing."  They will try to block the calls from N.C., but it appears that Global Tel may be the carrier the inmate is using, so they suggested I call Global, which I will.

Called several times  I looked up the number to the Durham Correctional Center it is 919-477-2314.  I talked to the seargent on duty he took the info You need to have the number called from and time and if the recording says the name get that to.  The people who trace that are gone at 5:00 but the sarge will re-lay info and they will find out who and have it stopped.

Received a call from this number tonight.  I live in Washington state too.

I live in Washington State. I got the call today 11/9/07 at 1:07 PM. The person calling collect from Dept of Corrections said his name was Dustin. I refused the call (obviously) and hung up. I hope it is the last time I get one of these annoying calls.

I have received calls starting on Monday  4/7 at 2p, 4/8 at 10p and then again tonight 4/9 around 10p.  I am really frustrated b/c my number is unlisted and less than 10 people have my number.  I called my local magistrate b/c I want this to be stopped. I told them what had been happening and they told me that this is just "randon", but seeing all this online, let's me know that this is not.  tomorrow I am contacting the actual place in conjunction with the local magistrate office here in NC and if something is not done quickly to stop this stupid mess, it will only get worse.  My number is unlisted so I won't get calls like this.

the actual name of the place per the voicemail message left was Avery Mitchell Correction in Spruce Pine, NC

It is not only a north carolina number it originates form Stafford Creek Corrections center and they never let anyone call out unless they know who they are calling maybe check to see if any family members or friends hads gone to prison recently to make sure you get updated on it and they maybe wanted to tell you they are in. so yeah. my father is in there and so i know how you all feel getting calls :)

also live in Washington state recieved a call from this number but they didn't say anything so hung up won't answer again. Thanks for the info.

I have been receiving phone calls from an 919 area code and I don't know anybody in the area it's from global tel link so I guess they're back at it again it's 2014 March i guess they waited a couple of years and got right back at it. The call type was from the automated global tel link recording they have to know something.
