UNC fundraising. I have never even gone there, so why are they calling me??

Did not answer but after reading other responses UNC is wasting its time with me. I will no longer make any donations, ending 43 years of doing so.

UNC Requesting Alumni Donations.

The called and called and finally I answered. They opened with misleading request to update contact information.  Then they asked about my experience as previous student at UNC.  And then one last question, would you make a generous donation of $400 to the annual giving program? This call was from the calling center(which is run by a company called Ruffalo Noel Levitz) in Chapel Hill which is probably contracted out to raise money for UNC.

Hey UNC, Love you but don't you know that RNL's aggressive phone tactics are a detriment to your fund raising! Wake up!!!

This is a third-party fund solicitor for UNC. They start their pitch under the guise of updating your alumni information and then move on to asking for money. I asked what percentage of my donation would be used for the solicitor's operating expenses - silence. When he started stuttering, I cut him off and informed him that I preferred to donate directly to the university so that they receive 100% of my money. However, due to UNC's recent ill-conceived dealings with the Sons of Confederate Veterans & "Silent Sam", they won't be getting any more of my money at all.

UNC donation collection. I have no idea why they would call during this political climate. With inflation, mass layoffs, etc. Also I'm still paying my student loans years later. Sorry, I have no more money for you. Read the room.
