I lady called from this number and said that she is doing a study for UCLA and had 3 questions for me.

That is a very legitimate survey. It's called the California Health Survey, through UCLA. It's been done for more than a decade. It is only for California residents. The company doing the calling now is based in North Carolina. I used to work on this project for several years for another research company. You can learn more about it by Goggling CHIS. or www.chis.edu.

Surveys are SPAM! Don't care who it is, it's unwanted so its SPAM as far as I'm concerned.

I am a South Carolina resident, caller told me she was calling from the CDC and that I would be mailed a $10 check to my address upon completing their survey. I asked how long it would take, and she told me approx. 25 minutes. I decided that it was not worth my time and hung up.
