CCI is the caller id.# 1-920-312-7008.  Call numerous times everyday and night.  SICK of it!!

Got call from 920-312-7008.  ID said "CCI".  No one there  Looks like some scam or telemarketer.

The dimwits continue to call even after being told not to. This harassment must stop.

This likely is an example of an increasingly sophisticated scamming process that uses artificial intelligence software to trick people into thinking they are talking to a real person.  Here are a few responses that support this notion:

"This is a computer.  Yes, it may sound like a human, but it's not.  It's a computer with a series of responses calculated to match what the scammers hear.  The caller is a robot" (Steven Tory)

"This time it was "getting a hold of you two(they always start out that way" is harder than getting my kids to make their own beds."  Always something like that to start." (duffymom)

"Female voice on phone: (exceedingly perky, cheerful, and sing-songy) "Hi! Is the lady of the house there?"
Me: pause, "I am an attorney working in my office. You may have dialed the wrong number?"
Voice on phone: (literally downcast, nearly an octave lower, no longer perky) "Oh, I didn't realize this was a business. I'll update our records.")" (kelly)

If you answer the phone - and you probably shouldn't! - assume you are talking to a robot until you have solid evidence that you are not.

Have had a few calls from this number over past week.  Since I've been getting a lot of unwanted calls, I've added this one to my list of offenders for the Do Not Call List, which I have belonged to for a very long time.

Got a call from 920-312-7008 on the home phone at 8:25 am. I refused to even look at the caller ID because I was trying to sleep in a little bit. Went to check my voicemail just now and... they didn't leave one.

Caller ID indicates CCI.  Supposedly a charity - Do not believe it!  The female caller is real slick, conversation goes something like this. Female caller asks " Is XYZ is here," I say "Who is this," she laughs and says "XYZ, you are hard to get a hold of."  Hang up time.

Called. CCI on ID., no msg left.  Glad I didn't answer because it's a scam. Yesterday they called from a different number.

CCI, scammers, I didn't answer called at 9 pm . They called a few days ago under this number and then a few days before that under a different number.

Why did they call and hang up >

It is a charity call for United Breast Cancer Foundation.  I called the number back listened to the prompts - press 1 to removed from their call list.  I looked up the charity online - not one I'm interested in donating to - about 25% of the funds raised go towards raising more funds (i.e. all the annoying calling).

Called again for the third time, second time after 9 pm.  I don't answer these calls.  They never leave a message. Scum

Keep getting calls from 920-312-7008.  I don't answer and they don't leave a message. The caller ID shows as CCI.

CCI came up on the caller ID.  I answered but it was silent on the other end, then they hung up.

This woman has called here 5 times this week, all with different numbers...hung up on her when she made sound like we were firends....so tired of it.  :-(

Called at 8:07am.  Didn't their mothers tell them it's rude to call before 9:00am

Scammers who never leave a message even though I never answer and they never stop calling.

I answered this call.  The person on the line made a comment about how hard it was to contact me. "getting a hold of you is harder than getting my kids to make their own beds."  This may be a legitimate non-profit organization, but their fundraising tactics are questionable.  I verbally committed to sending in a small donation. The caller then transferred me to another person to process my donation.  That person thanks me and then asked me for my credit card number.  I told her I would send a check instead.  She then said, "we just want to make this easy for you and save time and postage.  It's okay, I'll wait for you to get your credit card".  I again firmly told her that I would not pay by credit card, but would wait until I received the materials in the mail.  She then asked me to send the check within 2 days of receiving the materials. This was the last straw for me.  I will send a check, but it will not be to this organization.
