Caller asked for the former HR person. Says she has "information to pass on to her". Then the caller asks for HR. I said it wouldn't be transferred for a fishing expedition. Of course the caller denies it's a cold call, like I can't read the caller ID for a company that calls and calls and calls trying to sell the latest version of their whatever. I finally asked how many "NO's" it takes to get through to her, and the caller ended the call.

Are telemarketers not aware that they all sound the same and we operator/receptionists can spot (hear) them a mile off? I especially love the one's who say "This isn't a sales call, I have INFORMATION for them". Hello, you're calling to sell something, how is it not a SALES CALL? Their nose is a mile long and their pants are up in smoke, but they'll still claim it isn't a sales call. They also act like they've never encountered call screening before.

And implying that I'm too stupid to know what's good for me and the company just assures your calls will never, EVER get through.

I am the owner of my own business and I would just like to say this.  Regardless of who calls me(I get many sales calls on my personal cell phone) I always treat the person kindly and with respect.  Not only because it is the courteous thing to do, but also because it is the professional thing to do.  Word of mouth is a very powerful advertising agent and the last thing I want to happen is for a person with whom I received a sales call from to know a prospective customer of mine and that telemarketer tells the prospective customer how rude I am and that I am a big jerk.  And I always make sure my receptionist is kind and polite, if I hear otherwise she is gone.  It's called professional, good business.

According to *69, 920-7221-2848 just called. An answering machine answers our calls. This caller has never, to our knowledge, left a message. But over the last couple of weeks we've had a "silent caller" try playing touch-tone keys, and that's what happened today. They may be trying to engage the "playback" function to here messages on our machine, or otherwise screw with us. It was not a fax tone. This is not only rude, but borders on criminal. This may be "JJ Keller" but it's possible the "caller ID" has been spoofed.

We get calls from this number CONSTANTLY.  We do business with JJ Keller, also, but are looking for another company who hopefully will not call us all the time wanting to be so "helpful".  It's bad enough when you get these kind of calls from companies you don't do business with, but to treat an actual customer this way is no way to keep our business.  
I called them back and requested that our number be put on their DO NOT CALL list today.
We will see if it works or not.

'JJ Keller' has been calling for a very, very, very long time. I never pick up, especially since I'm in no way shape or form the person they need, nor do I even know who it is. One would figure they'd be intelligent enough to have a real person dial and listen to the prompts. That'd make me happier if they called another line.

I've noticed this come up a few times just lately.  They have never left a message and because the area code is not local, I don't answer it.  As far as I know, we don't do any business with JJ Keller.

if you sign a form check or click the box that says sure call me or have your sister or associates businesses or agencies call be game on, even if you are on the do not call list.  Read the exptions carefully.

Then if you ever post your number on line and be prepared for the trolls to come after you in violation of the do not call with all kinds or forged numbers.

I keep getting calls that comes up on the caller ID as a local number.  Every time I answer they hang up on me. I tried calling the number back and it says it is not in service.   I then dialed *69 and it gave me this number 920-722-2848.  If you want to be treated with courtesy then please treat me with courtesy and quit hanging up on me every time I answer your calls.

They are back at it - must've recycled this old number.  He called for the Safety Manager.  I offered to take a message - he said he had his cell phone number and would contact him there.  Common line for solicitors - common LIE I should say.

JJ Keller - they call from other numbers as well.  They are a completely legitimate business and one that we conduct business with.  They provide all kinds of safety and training materials in various business lines.  They are also a colossal pain in the rear.  If we could get what we needed from another company at a reasonable price, we would do so based simply on the annoying frequency of their phone calls.

Karma your an IDIOT, How dare you make your receptionist deal with pond scum like this. We get treated like CRAP, threatened and belittled  by the POS callers. Why would any want to work for you.
