All they did was call and, when the answering machine kicked in, they hung up!

Same as last poster ... this 'Appleton, WI' caller, [(920) 903-3088] calls & hangs up, doesn't leave a message.

Calls and tells me that I have been approved for a loan I didn't apply for. Needs to stop!!!!!!

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Called and when I answered - they hung up! When I tried calling back, it picked up but then hung up.

I have been getting calls for a month straight now from this number....same thing, does not talk when I answer and then gets my voice mail and stays on long enough for it to record but does not say anything.  I blocked the number from my phone as most plans give you 5 numbers free that you can block.

They called today....said I won a contest...$200.00 gift card from Wal-Mart or Target but must send 4.95 first and they would then send my gift card...I knew it was fraud from the start but played along.  They asked my name...anyone can get that so gave it to them...address the same...then to "bill me once for handling" they wanted my credit card number...I said I don't use credit cards...I'll send you cash...he said cash???? I said to what address...he said 1216 Jefferson Rd. Tampa, Fl. 33286...then came back and said oh we don't take cash from Wisconsin...I said well then I guess this call is over with and hung up.....I wanted to see just how far I could push them for information....soooooo if anyone reads this do the same and waster their time, but NEVER give out your credit card number....oh yes they even said well you do use your credit card...look at your Visa ending in 4....so they have some information on everyone and want to get more....By the way the guy sounded like he was from India.....hope this helps....
