Called my disabled client seeking money for volunteer firefighters. I was the fundraiser chairperson for a volunteer fire Dept. and we Never solicited by phone

Called Friday, 7/13/18 at 11:59 am. Caller ID showed " Vol Firefighters".  No message left.

Called today. Did not answer. Left no message.

Suspicion Scam!! Caller ID: "VOLUNTEER FIRE" It's a robocall and I highly suspect it to be scam. the script is as follows:
"Hello this is Aaron how are you today. The reason for the call is the volunteer firefighters association which assists our firefighters will be sending a donation return on the will to all supporting residents the goal the drive to support legislators who work to keep our community safe as well as support assistance to the families of firefighters killed or injured in the line of duty so when you receive your donation return on the love to the organization count on your small 1 time small nation."

Caller ID indicates "Volunteer Fire". Caller left no message. This number is marked as a robocaller on another site with a transcript similar to calls I've received from several other telephone numbers under Caller ID "Vol Firefighters". Apparently part of a political group.

CID showed Moraga, CA. I immediately blocked with #2 but waited on the live line for a scammer to come on the line. First thing I asked was "What are you selling?" Aaron (I think that was what he said his a\name was) said he's collecting donations for Volutary fireman's fund...I said very sternly...F.U. and hung up. Called # back later and found it's a SPOOF # and not in service. How stupid do these scammers think we are????

Thanks to the above comments, I no longer feel guilt for not answering a call with caller ID showing Vol Firefighters.  Similar calls in the past have also been junk.

Received a phone call from this number, I don't know the number and did not answer. The caller left no message.

Another number they are using 7472041231. Same message. Fire fighters donations. Scam

Scam not really charity for firefighters - ignore and block.

Yet another in a string of calls from "volunteer firefighters."  They seem to have a bank of numbers to spoof, so that having blocked the last one is useless.
If my local firefighters are standing out at an intersection in uniform with a boot as a collection, plate they'll get my contribution.  But not these frauds.
8/22/18, 12:57 PM.  Call from 925-247-1009.  Caller ID said, "VOL FIREFIGHTERS."

So wrong! Like others we've received multiple calls either claiming to be VOL FIRE ASSOC and other VOIP spoofed numbers. Do not pick up, do not answer.

Caller ID "Fire Assn". I didn’t answer, and the caller did not go through the prompts to bypass my call screening device.
