Called with the Orange County Register to offer free subscription...sounded strange

Got a call from the "Orange County Register" claiming it was not a solicitation call but a survey. I hung up. OC Register is a (949) area code, not an area code from Northern California. SCAM - Call (925) 247-1501 and a recording will tell you it's not in service!

No caller ID info.  I didn't answer, and no message was left.

Lady with accent saying shes from a newspaper. I hungup. Obviously from the other posts its a scam.

This scumbag already called 5 times. Number is blocked.

This person called stating that they were calling from a local paper. Also stated that it was a recorded call. They stated they would provide Sunday papers for free for a period of time. They mentioned an address that was incorrect and said my spouses name. Then hung up.

Called again, even though number was blocked on phone.  Definite scammers.

These idiots have called repeatedly despite being blocked weeks ago. Definite scammer behavior.

This is another scammer number.   Came in on my cell phone.  No message. I blocked immediately.  When a call comes in with a city and state and not a persons name I do not answer.
