Has been calling me for the past 3-4 days at least twice a day (once in the morning and once in the evening).

They have been calling at lease 2-3 times a day, I answered and recording says push 1 to accept and I hung-up. Called back and was asked what city I was in I gave them the state and the jerk said was I a paper reader I answered no he said have a good day and hung-up. Hope I won't get any more calls.

Has been calling once a day for the past two days. Haven't answered- thought I'd check it out first.

Has been calling me at the beginning of each month for the past three months trying to sell me my local newspaper. They call at least twice a day at random times (usually early in the morning and late afternoon) for a period of 3 days to a week, but once I answer that I'm not interested they hang up. It's not always the same caller, but their responses are always the same. I've called back multiple times but today was the first time it went through. I asked to be taken off their calling list, and person on the other side said he would (only after trying to sell me some other deal, of course). Hopefully that does the job.

This number has been calling me at least once a day and not leaving a message, including the weekend.  I think they got my number from some kid i tried to help with a school fundraiser outside of the BART station one evening. (which turned out to be bogus).  No one ever calls me from the 925 area code, so this is the only thing I can connect it with as i don't give out my phone # to places and am on the DNC list.

I got a call too and what happened was he said he was from the newspaper but I agreed to subscribe and then later on the real newspaper had no record of any subscription. AVOID these people

I keep getting a call from this phone number, starting Tuesday, April 23, 2013, I got a call this morning and just now, 12:21pm.  I think this is SJMN because two weeks ago, I had sent them a letter to San Jose Mercury Newspaper, their associates in Los Angeles asking them to stop trying to collect money from me, for a subscription that I never subscribed to.  To stop sending me notices to pay $40 for service from 3/13-07/13.  I also asked them to stop calling me from the phone number they were calling me from and leaving me msgs asking me to call back regarding my subscription.  I also sent a copy of my letters to The Better Business Bureau to make them aware of what's going on.  This is so frustrating.  So if you do get a call from this number, this is most likely San Jose Mercury News or someone calling you to subscribe to the newspaper or even telling you to pay for the subscription, even though you didn't ask for it.

I actually subscribed to the West County Times Sunday only back in February, and finally dumped them in May, because I only got one paper! Well, it ended up being two papers but one was thrown into a muddy wet mess. I called them every Monday to complain and each time I got stupid excuses. However, nothing changed. After I'd already cancelled them and gotten my (demanded for) refund, the calls started, so I just blocked them. The Bay Area News Group really needs to get their heads out of the sand or they won't be able to blame the economy for their downfall, because it will be due to failing to recognize that these telemarketers are taking them down.

It's the number for the OAKLAND TRIBUNE! I use to receive the paper but anyway.. asked them to take me off their "list" ..tired of being called 2-3x daily!

I've been getting calls from this number for weeks. Hoping if I never pick up they'll stop calling.

I constantly get called by this number at various times a day but no messages and when I call back I only get music.  I haven't lived in Cali since June and my Tri-Vally times expired June 3rd, yet for months this number and 3 other random numbers always call.. idoits don't realize that 8:30 pm PST is 10:30 pm CST and I'm in bed sleeping. I will NEVER order another newspaper to be delivered ever again.

Selfish, annoying, money-grubbing JERKS. Block the number if you can.

Same...Bay area news froup..subscription and I gave my CC details.....After one week called new paper ofc and they says their system doesn't show any record of new subscription....And I immediately called my bank to block my card.....

I cancelled my subscription weeks ago, but it's back...

This is what happens when you renew your subscription?  Really people!  How many newspapers should a household have?  Only way to get rid of them is to block them until they realize it's a blocked # and try one of their other #'s.  Really have to be careful who has your phone #.

They call from various numbers.  Called one of them back, just heard music, PRESSED ZERO, was immediately connected to a person, asked to have my number removed.
