Picked up, no answer. Scam!

Scam.  Number IS NOT active on call back.  What more does anyone need to know?  Block 'em and forget 'em.

Guy asked about the mileage on my Volvo. I've never owned one. He said ok I'll update your file. I told him to take my number off his list. He kept at it and I stopped being polite, interrupted him and repeated to take me off his list, and hung up. Number is blocked now.

Received a call from this number on 9/6/18 around 6pm. The person barely spoke English so I had a difficult time understanding him initially. Once I confirmed I was "Al," he then proceeded to tell me that it was time to renew my extended warranty on my 2014 Mercedes. I asked him to confirm what vehicle he was referring to as I do not own a Mercedes. After he confirmed the same information, I asked to speak to his manager as I expected this to be a scam. He quickly hung up and I blocked the number.

Called today about a vehicle I owned 4 vehicles ago. Was trying to offer me a warranty extension to a vehicle I've not owned in 6 years and the warranty ran out on 2 years ago.

Called around 9:15 am this morning.  I ignored and did not answer as I figured it was, once again, nothing but a scammer calling.  Not wasting my precious time answering these type of calls.

Oh, JOY TO THE WORLD!  It's them again.  Called my cell just a couple of minutes ago (5:19 pm) once again.  My cell rang until they got tired (lol).

JOY TO THE WORLD!  Called again today (3:35 pm).  No problem … still not picking up.  I don't bother with people (especially scammers) I do not know.

I get 8-10 scam calls a day. I no longer answer my phone to anyone I don’t know. I have no idea how to stop this.  If they don’t leave a msg I put the caller into a blocked call list that grows bigger everyday!

This number called asking for another person. I told them wrong number.

I didn’t answer.     From reading comments on this site they make different scam calls.   Car insurance or student loan?

My AT&T Call Protect blocked 23 calls in a row from this number. They called back to back 23 times, but never left a voicemail. Thankfully my phone provider does block numbers that have been reported as spam.

928 233 7855 shows AZ . They call constantly with no message. I have reported this to FTC.

Call says Flagstaff, Arizona. No message was left.

Tried to get me to log on to website
Support.me  to gain access to my computer. Said my smart phone was hacked and “Simon” (heavy foreign accent) would fix for free. Call came from 973-528-7276 and Simon asked me to call him back at 928-233-8129 when I had better WiFi. told Simon my phone couldn’t connect b/c I had Poor WiFi. Glad I could waste 5 minutes of his time asking Simon to repeat himself...spell words out..ie. me , support, Asked him where is the search button located on google etc.

I got a call saying my Microsoft account had been breached.! They were trying to have me buy a google play card to reinstall security. They said money was being pulled out of th account in hundreds of dollar increments. I said let me check I’ll call you back. That ended that scam!

Very questionable and very very shady. Don’t fall for this scam.
