Received call from 931-223-8000, Rapid Recovery, on my cell phone; a number I have had for over 10 years, and never give out.  It is a collection agency, according to web search, located in a town I used to live in.  I am sure they were fishing because my credit is 800+ and I always pay on time. I was going to call back but I have all 931 calls blocked by area code because of spam, but considering I never set up voice mail on my cell phone, that was good enough.

Telemarketers sell goods or services.  This is clearly a debt collector which could have been discovered by reading the other posts.  Since you have not indicated what the call was about, they may or may not have "no right to my phone number".

Just received my second call from this number, see earlier post.  Cell phone call blocking worked once again. Shows a voice mail indication but I have none set up.  I am getting the last laugh because I know what they have to say has nothing to do with me.

Once again Rapid Recovery is not getting the message, literally.  My cell phone call blocker shows a Feb. 11 call but it was blocked.  I don't know what they are up to, nor do I care!

I think Theresa meant debt collector and not telemarketer given that she knew it was Rapid Recovery, therefore your reply appears not to have noticed this discrepancy and is invalid.  I too believe that no one has the right to my personal phone number, other than those I give it to.

You are wrong, since if you took the time to look at the drop down list where you select which "call type" to choose, debt collector is at the top and telemarketer is at the bottom, so it is easy to see that  'Theresa' purposely selected telemarketer.
So your statement that I quoted would seem to apply more to yourself than BigA.

There is no such thing as "has a Right to my personal phone" when it comes to receiving a call, as anyone who can make a phone call has the right to call any number.

The issue is more about WHAT the callers intention was for calling you. If you believe only people who you select should be able to call, then perhaps getting an app or service that has "Whitelisting" as an option would be more suited for you to actually take control over who calls you.
