This is an 'Award Claim Contest' soliciation Telemarketer. Live person wants to speak with the award winner,.... whole thing sounded bogus. We are a commercial business, and on the DNC list. Just wasting our time & theirs.

This pest calls individual land line users trying to scam....

Incredibly rude telemarketer - who slammed phone in my ear when I told her to put us on our do not call list. Said, We do not have a do not call list... If you don't want to be called, don't request it." SLAM.

Called back to see what company this was calling [no company name other than Columbia, TN ... She slammed 3 more times...

Then called from cell and she told me [not knowing this was me] her name was Darrius and it was the AWARDS CENTER. I told her who I was and she said, "Stop messing with my phone." and slammed again.

This telemarketer called to say my husband was 1 of 3 grand prize finalist and wanted him to call Darrius back.  When I asked what company I should tell him was calling, she immediately hung up on me.  We are also on the do not call list!

Told me I won a brand new Ford Explorer, after entering a contest!  I asked what contest I entered to win this vehicle and she said, "I don't know, but it must have been something you entered!"  After listening to other items I had allegedly won, I asked the question, "How much is this going to cost me?"  This, uh..., lady, became VERY defensive.  I was then told, "We will give you the directions to the front door to pick up your prizes."  I said I am not interested, to which I was told (with attitude I might add), "Well, we will call you back next week."  She was the rudest, and just maybe, the dullest bulb in the box, I have ever encountered.  They must have an endless supply of expensive prizes to give away.  Oh yes, it must be out of the goodness of their heart.  Anyway, I guess she didn't know I am a retired cop.  Think I'll contact a few freinds.  What idiots....

Let call go to voice mail and realized it was a real person so picked up and said "do not call this number again" to which the female voice rudely said "then don't put your name on entry forms!" and hung up.  Never put my name on anything like that = this one said for a Ford car.  Also we are on DNC list.

I, too, had a call yesterday evening from "Darius".  When I answered the phone, she said she was calling from the Award's Claim Center and I politely told her I was not interested.  She then said to me in a rude, angry voice, "then don't put your name in entry boxes" and she slammed the phone down.  She called my cell phone, so I called the number back and she picked up and immediately hung the phone up.  I kept calling and she kept doing the same thing.  I was very surprised at the way she handled the call.  She then answered at one point and said "this call is being recorded and it shows how many times you've called!" And she slammed the phone down, AGAIN.  I don't care if it's being recorded or not, YOU called me and I am calling you back to see what in the world your problem is.  After several times of her hanging the phone up on me when she picked up and then also picking up and immediately putting me on hold, I gave up.  She then CALLED ME BACK about 15 minutes later and said, "ma'am could you please stop playing with my phone, I do not get anything out of calling you, if you don't want to be called then STOP filling out entry forms!!!!"  She was VERY VERY rude and I wanted to tell her that maybe she should find another job, because she obviously hates hers!  I have never even filled out any entry forms of any sort!  This "lady" has some serious issues...needless to say I reported her!  Go to www.fcc.gov and fill out the online complaint form!  This has got to stop!

received a call from a lady asking for terry . thought that was someone else. told her to take us off her list and she said i'll call terry back. tried to call back to say again to take us off the list and she kept hanging up the phone. i finally left a message . then she calls back to say , you called 10 time only to leave me a massage  and hung up again. TAKE US OFF THE LIST AND DO NOT ,I REPEAT, DO NOT CALL AGAIN!!!

i also apparently won a ford explorer or $25000 today. when i asked when and where i had entered, she got defensive and said "we are only responsible for the prizes, you must have entered at the local grocery store or other retailer." i asked what area and store, then she got all mad and hung up on me.
i know a few people who actually enter contests and win grand prizes. they are required to tell you what company is holding the contest and where you entered so that the store or location that received your entry can get a prize as well. i couldn't get a straight answer out of this darius person, so i know it's a scam. that and i never put my home phone number on a contest entry form.

Called my cell phone. I used a fake voice when I answered the phone. Woman called me a MORON because of my voice. I thanked her and then hung up. Two minutes later they called my home phone which I did not answer!

Called my number repeatedly over several days. I never answered because I don't recognize the #. Also, they did not leave a message, which they would have if it were a legitimate or important call. Several of my friends have recently gotten scam calls saying they won a prize, so I was suspicious from day one. Today I looked up the number here, and surprise, surprise! It IS a scam call. No surprise that the caller is rude to those who don't cooperate with her scam. She's a criminal, after all. Telling people to quit entering contests is just a way of trying to make people believe she isn't a scammer and shift the blame to those she calls. I am on the DNC list and also have an unlisted #. I will report it to the DNC list.
