Called my cell phone. Can't imagine how they got that number.

Told me there isno problem with my credit card but I could lower the rate. Hove no card with them.

they called i didnt answer but they left no voicemail either

Called it back, be careful, I did not answer their question with a yes and they immediately hung up on me.  I have heard that if it is recorded the yes could give them permission to do almost anything with any information they may have on you.  Also the person spoke so quickly I could not identify the name of the company.

Rcvd call today to my temp "pay-as- you-go" cell phone that I got for my out of state job search. No msg left. You can advise them to stop the calls or you will turn them over for FDCPA violations.

Pretty much the same thing here, as soon as they answer the phone and I said I dont have a cc, they hung up on me. I have done this about 8 times

They called me and asked me the same thing about my credit card and interest rate. I don't have a credit card!

This phone number called my cell phone it rang 4 times They did not leave a message

My bf gets calls from this number, so when I answered, I selected 1 to speak with a representative.  He answered saying something like "Hi, this is (don't remember his name), and I understand you're interested in finding out how you can lower the interest rate on your credit card."  I said, "Well, I actually just needed to get my number removed and wanted to verify it with someone." Of course, he hung up on me, or sounded like he hung up on me, after I said "removed".  I can't wait til he calls back.  I'm so gonna [***] with him.
Oh and if anyone gets bored and wants to take a crack at entering his voicemail box, you should try.  Just call the number back and it will go straight to voicemail.  Then press * I think, and it'll ask you to enter the password.  Try some different # combos.

This is a cell phone my grandson was using and it worried him!

it appears this is a cellular number or at the least forwarded to one ...the VM was all garbled & papers shuffled etc.


However it appears this is a some SCAM of sorts, dont answer questions even if they have "some" of your info correct.................ask for another number to contact them or a manager ................they will hang up fast!

if it is his it is cloned i would call your cellular company to investigate why

Got this call and it told me to press one to speak with someone about lowering my credit score. So I pressed one to speak with someone about taking me off their call list. The man answered and when I told him, he hung up. Call back and the voicemail is full. I'm still angry about it.

Keeps calling...I do not pick up... needs to take me off the list.  Sometimes I get calls too where they state they're "my credit card company and want to lower my rate..."

They don't actually look numbers up anywhere - they use automatic dialing programs (which are illegal, but good luck getting them prosecuted for anything).

yo, like they called me on the 26th and like they never left a message so i never called back i was going to but i didn't cause i really don't know this number and they might be some stalker or some [***] like that but i will call it back and tell them to loose my munber or my lawyer will be taking them to court for calling after i asked not to
