I received the same call from these so called "Microsoft technicians."  They went on and on how there's a virus on my computer and it sent them an alert. I said, oh really? So what do you plan to do? The guy said, (thick Hindi accent) "I have a technician here who is ready to assist you with your virus." I told him, "well I've got some news for you... I'm a Sr. Information Security Engineer and a malware remediation expert by profession. What makes you think I need your help?"

He hung up on me.  LOL!

In this case our computer was jammed and then got the call from the scamming telephone number with much of the same information from people above.  Can't isn't there something the FCC can do about these people?

Keep getting these calls even after reporting them to FCC many times.  How many people do they have to screw before anything is done to them.  Screw them!!!

The same phone number had called me several times but I never answered the phone. I had read about a scam re Microsoft couple months ago but had no clue as to what phone # it was connected with. I finally answered the phone today ... Yep, it was the thick Indian accent MS lady going on about a "bug", "virus", etc ... she sounded very nervous ... anyway after she did did het thing, I said, "Oh yeah, I know my computer is infected- yeah with a virus- Aha! Yeah, a scam virus ... that is I know all about your scam" ... she hesitated for a moment, began to speak then hung up. The End.

Same weekly call re computer virus scam. This is the place of business for an IT. We have reported it to the police, but there is little they can do.

My wife has been receiving calls from this number for a couple of months, so she doesn't answer them.  They call 2 to 3 times in a row almost every day.  I took the calls yesterday and read him/them the riot act.  Last call I just continued to say hello, hello, while they started to talk, and then they hung up.  I figured I might as well have some fun with these scammers,  Think next time I might just put the phone down and let them talk.
