Just got a call from 937-660-5829 and they hung up when I answered

my cell phone yesterday  no msg    going to block    don't want my cell number used by unknowns

Probably scam. Won a free trip. Heavy accent. Go to this address 5005 Rockside Rd in Independence, OH.

I also got a call from this number. Was told that I had filled out an "application" and out of thousands, my name had been drawn, etc. Told to get a pen and paper for information. I asked when and where I would have filled this out and was given dates and possible places "in Ohio". Said that although my area code was OH, I had not lived in Ohio for quite a few years and that this must be a scam. Was told that my voice was "coming in and out" and the connection was broken. Looking up the address someone above gave, there is a Global Vacation Network at that location. So are they scamming or is someone out to get them in trouble for scamming?

Called Sunday morning at 10 AM. Couldn't understand most due to accent. Sounded like I had won something, but I don't normally ever enter any contests.

This number called me during school. Glad to see I didn't miss anything

I am on the do not call list, I just got a call from this number

Called and acted like she had the wrong number but then tried to sell me some stolen items from black friday sale

Call on cell, no message.  Glad I didn't bother to answer based on comments below.

called my cell. no message left. glad I looked up number, seems this man is on the hunt to scam!

Received call from "Island Vacations", was told that I'd filled out an application (and asked if I remembered having done so) and that I'd won a trip for a month.  I told the caller that he must have had the wrong number.  He got flustered and short with me.  Told him he had the wrong number again and he hung up.

this number just called and offered special cruise or luxury hotel stay. just pay taxes and fees. SCAM. clearly a foreigner and from a call center.

Got a call, no answer, called back no answer. Odd to read these posts and see they have a Dayton area code with an Independence (near Cleveland) address.

Got a call about 10 minutes ago. A man with heavy accent claiming to be a manager for "Island Vacations". Said I was a selected winner for a vacation gift. Free flight, hotel, etc. (Yeah right..)
Anyway, I said "I just researched your number and it's showing up as a scam. And I never filled out any forms."
He said he will have his manager call me back, lol.

I'll play along until I've wasted all of their time so much that they all quit working there. ;)

Call to cell phone today (Sunday) @ 8:45 a.m.  No message.  I blocked it.

Received call, answered and they hung up immediately

Called my cell on 12/9 @ 12:20PM. Did not leave any message.

Called me on 12/9 @ 12:20PM. Left no message. When I called back I heard the beeping signal that signifies a non-working number.

That's very interesting. Independence Ohio? Just a short hop from me. I can be in Inependence inside of 25 minutes. In fact I'll be there twice in the next week. If they tell that to me you can bet I'll go there with a hard right cross.

They called me offering a free vacation, wouldn't say the company name but located in Independence, Ohio and refused to let me speak to a manager. Hung  up
