Call is from wells fargo so they claim they just want bank information these people need to be stopped

The call is not from Wells Fargo or any other legitimate financial institution. It is a fishing scam being ran by someone in Dayton, OH. Do not provide these crooks any personal information. If you want to mess with them keep them on the phone for a little while then inform them that the Dayton PD has successfully traced their call and is on their way to arrest them. Personally I just ignore their calls, as I know they are spam calls.

For the second time, I received a call from this # stating it was from Wells Fargo and my debit card had been de-activated, and I need to enter the last 4 digits of my SSN and my debit card # to re-activate. I have never banked with Wells Fargo, so I know it is a scam. I have tried to call the # back, first time it was a fax machine, the second time, the inbox was "full". I blocked the numbe on my calling plan so I won't have to hear from these yahoos any more.

No message, but the call came through at 2:37 AM, waking me from a sound sleep. I thought even scam artists were constrained by the regulated calling times? Guess not.

Same thing. 2:15 a.m. last night. I'd like to strangle this person

I got a call from this number at 2:37 am.  It won't receive calls back.  I would like to know who to report it to.
