Called and did not leave a message. Caller id shows cellular call. Called number back, got a recording. Another scam survey company.

Political survey about upcoming elections. When she tried to push more information for the Republican candidate, Joyce Deitering for the Ohio House of Representatives after being told I was voting for the Democratic candidate,  Roland Winburn, she hung up. No "Thank you" or "Good-bye", just a click. Guess she didn't like my answers. This isn't an unbiased survey about the candidates or issues but an obvious attempt to sway your opinion if you aren't voting for their Republican candidates. Don't waste your time.

Called at 7:20 pm, when I picked up the phone, there was no one there. Number showed on Caller ID, along with Dayton, that's it

I guess the number is active again.  Although my caller ID did not give the area code, it was a political survey call.  It actually sounded like he said he was Paul Murky of Murky Research (NPR reference).  I chuckled and said "not interested," then hung up.

Caller doesn't have the nerve to leave a message with who it is calling & what they want.

In that case, it may be a live voice they're after, there may be a charge for leaving a message, or they're unprepared for an automatic answer. Leaving messages rarely gives the caller much and since you can't rip off an answering device, a live voice works better.~I Was Prepared~JustinCase

Spam call telling me I won a night at their complimentary hotel. I didn’t apply for a thing. I’m sick of people calling my phone when I am on the do not  call list

This was a person who called me and said they wanted counseling for for a family member. They asked a LOT of questions about when appointments were available and if they could be telehealth or in-person. When I tried to get more specifics they wouldn't say who their family member was and then said they would call back. I called them back because this whole exchange felt strange and they were Venture Data-a political polling and data survey company. UGH! They were surveying me without disclosing that they were surveying me....
