The call is a recording that starts with:  Please hold, this is a very important call and a representative will be with you shortly.  They have called several times.  Once at the end of the recording it said I was number 14 in the que.  They never identify themselves, and caller ID just reads Dayton.  It is probably a collection agency.  I think it is rude expect you to hold for an unidentified caller.  I hang up.

I live in the 937 area, so the initial thought is to answer, but if the number is unfamiliar, I generally go with my second thought and don't pick up.  Based on the above postings, the second thought is the right one.

Should debt collectors send statements of your balance? I cannot get one from the "company" I have been working with to let me know the balance of a past due credit card. It should be about paid. I would really like to know the balance. Is it required that collectors let us know? Thanks

Caller asked for nancy harris,,Told her she had wrong number,,Said she would remove my nunber.

This number calls me several time a day. NO response on the other end. My home phone # is on the DO NOT CALL list. bury them, please.

Received two calls from this phone number leaving a message.  Most recent was on May 23, 2012.    Starts out by saying wait for a representative, says this 3 times, then some lady asks for a person, then hangs up.

Been getting about 4 calls a day. Some times when the answering machine kicks on they hang up.

One person here said it was a debt collector, but looking up the phone number it says a telemarketer.

Found out more.  It is CBCS Collection Agency.  Located 11 West Monument Ave, Suite 200, Dayton, OH 45402.  Phone: 937-220-6290.  The phone number 937-660-9773 is licensed by Cincinnati Bell Wireless Inc in Greene County.  They find people by internet and telephone directories.  If they are looking for Joe USA, they will search the net and directories, make a list of all Joe USA's and start calling from that list, not knowing whether that is the Joe USA they are looking for.  If you don't give your personal information or respond, they jest keep calling.

I received numorous of call a least three time a day.

All new accounts are super and old ones after 7 are not to be called upon or reported so avoid violence against ood people Kettering Ohio collectors that help fraud.

they ask you to hold and they call from all different numbers starting with 937 660 I have blocked the numbers but they call from another 937 660 number I would like for the calls to stop immediately

Get them every Saturday & Sunday
Over 6 months block number and unidentified numbers and they call from different number every week
