Number called today Punta Gorda - did not leave message

The caller was looking for a donation to the Florida state police for those killed in the line of duty to help fund their family. Is this a scam? Don't know.

Just called. 5/30/2014, 4:45pm. Left message, man said: Hello? Good afternoon, this is Eric Gordon. And that was it.
GARBAGE. I'm sure. Thanks, Verizon, for trying to weasel another 6 bucks/month outta me so my number won't be listed! Guess paying them monthly for a home phone ain't enough. :P

Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.
