Claiming to be a remote opportunity, a job offer. I don't think it's real.

I’ve been getting several of these, and they are usually scams. I even had a company send me a check, and I knew what they were up to because I’m looking to work remote. They’re gonna say cash, the check, which will be no good and then say they over paid you and ask you to send them more money. I’m not gonna waste my time anymore with any of these text messages. If it’s a legitimate company, they should understand with the text. I am sending to each one below. I just sent it to the same number since I got the same text. Usually nobody responds back because it’s a scam.

Hello, I would like to get a phone number to the company prior to clicking on any links. I have had three scams that are in a similar format as far as getting a text message asking to join a zoom meeting. I'm going to take precautions going forward as I've been advised by all the job boards to do because there's so many scams out there. I'm sure if you are a legitimate company you would completely understand. Thank you.

I got a text message from this number about how they reviewed my resume for the job I applied for and blah blah blah. I believe this is a scam due to them wanting me to click on links, no emails, I checked the jobs I applied for and I do not see this company, so its already a red flag. Below is the text message I recieved.

Hello! I am responding to your resume that you posted on one of the job boards we work with. My name is Brittany and I am with The AO Agency. I am the Executive Assistant to Morgan Gorham, the agency Director. Morgan reviewed your resume online and thought you would make a great fit in the agency. She asked that I contact you to set up a meeting with you over a Zoom video conference tomorrow Tuesday, July 18th at 1:00pm (PDT). If you cannot make this date/time, I have opened up some additional dates/times in the link using the drop down. Please let me know which day you have registered for, by sending me a screen shot of your registration. Since you received the exact same message that the previous poster received then why did you feel that you had to post it all over again with another live, malicious link?

I received the same text and it took me to a page that wanted me to select times for interviews.  I set up the call, just because I want to see whats going to happen.  There are so many fake job scams out there is horrible!  Beware of Linkedin as well because these scam artists have infiltrated that site too!

I got a text message from this number about how they reviewed my resume posted on one of the job boards they work with and blah blah blah. I believe this is a scam due to them wanting me to click on links (no emails) to schedule Zoom video conference. I checked if there is any company information to match the jobs I applied for but there is no information at all. I do not see this text to be legit and the phone number used has so many red flags from other people. I just blocked, thanks.

Same exact message, not sure I remember applying for a job with them. But a text (and its a long one) in this manner just seems like a scam.

Same message (see below) just different name and company. Brittany doesn't specify her last name, and no contact info for the company. She also text me after business hours. Suspect! I googled the company and Kyle, and yeah I can tell it's a total scam. DO NOT CLICK THE LINK.

This is a scam, I am glad I looked this up before clicking the link. I have received the same message as everyone else just a different name and agency they work for. Which means my number has been leaked out to all. Great...

I just got the exact same text word-for-word, except the business is called The Hart Agency and they changed the agency director to “Austin Macias”.

    100% a scam

I got the same text today. I figured it was a scam... what executive assistant is personally reviewing random resumes on career sites for people who didn't even apply to work with them? Execs are way too busy for this scenario.

Got a text that just seems odd for a legitimate offer to do as first contact.
    Don't think this is legitimate.
