- joey two twogot a call from the same number, returned it, got a secretary claiming to be with a company doing "investor relations", asked her if they were trying to sell their services, she said "no" and wanted to "have one of their agents call me back" asked for phone number, then company name, then address, which is when i cut her off... I have no investments with the company in question.
sorry, i didnt have time to write down the name of the company...- Caller: ?
- From PT LisbonThey intend to lure you to invest in some company, which might seem to be doing good in stock exchange and having profit due to the excellence of the managing leaders.
The first phone call is intended to collect the details from you:
address, name, mobile or other contact.
the second contact they will try to find out how much you are willing to invest...
when they contact me we got stuck in the "how much are you willing to invest" and when I told that I would not reveal those numbers, the call was terminated.
after this first contacts, I've received two more contacts, to which I always say that I'm not interested to (even) ear what they have to say.
the next time, I'll try to remember to menace them with arrassement, just to see what they say :-)- Caller: don't know
- JacoHi
I've too strange call from GTG company (Caller id 19413882882).
Im from Poland and my question is:
To which countries GTG is calling?
So, could you write from which countries are you?- Caller: GTG ?
- from Wroclaw, POLANDThis time it is: "Global-Med Technologies Group Inc. (GTG)"
As already mentioned above, I've got 2 calls in about 2 weeks:
- 1st call from unidentified number from Bulgaria (?) collecting contact details for further investment offers
- 2nd call today from +19413882882 (Robert Lawrence from GTG) encouraging to invest in Pre-IPO shares of his company (now they cost only USD 2,50 but as the company goes public early next year, the price will growth to USD 12 at least); the company is called Global-Med Technologies Group Inc. (GTG) and is manufacturing medical devices, mainly for its partner: The Core Institute.
The 2nd call was followed by e-mail sent from ir@global-med.us.com containing two attachments: "GTG Company Introduction.doc" (username and password to login on www.global-med.us.com) and "Info.doc" ("MDL Top Stories" - some optimistic economical articles about medical technology branch).
I am supposed to do my own investigations to find out how attractive the offer is, and I'll be called on Monday once again (I should make my decision as soon as possible, as there is not much time left - maximum 5 days).- Caller: Global-Med Technologies Group Inc. (GTG)

- Peter, from Krakow POLANDI got 3 calls from Global-Med Technologies Group Inc. (GTG)
First a girl with a strange accent and then 2 calls from a guy.
They called me on my cell phone 0048 501xxxxxx
The number was withheld (Annonymous) so i cant be sure its this number in any case the guy "Dean Jackson" was very nice at first he took a lot of time to explain to me what the healthcare reform system is about in the US what Obama wants to implement and so on.
He shown me the website gtg.us.com login gtg pass surgeon ... nice presentation and he mentioned that certain US doctors where involved in the project:
David Jacofsky
Mark Jacofsky
Thomas Sweeney
Im actually concidering if i should contact them and let them know their name is being used as such.
My second call was also followed by an email form 'ir@global-med.us.com' with 2 documents attached. He didnt mention any time limit but did say time is of importance and we wanna be 10 days early rather than 1h late :P
The PRE-IPO he offered me was at 3,75$ per share and was ment to sell at 12-15$ post IPO.
The only info i found about this company was a link to their site a link to the people who made their site and this page.
When i mentioned to him this website he got very rude started calling people "idiot tenagers bloging on the web", and then he said he wouldnt sell me the shares even if i wanted to... dont know what that was about maybe some way to make me want them even more?
Ohh and the background noise ... a lot of people talking either he has a busy office at 2-4 in the morning in the US (9:00am GMT+0) or he is not from the US and calling from a public place.- Caller: Global-Med Technologies Group Inc. (GTG)

- CP - from PortugalWe received a strange call from this number too, today, 12 November 2009.
The person identifyed himself as Mike something (I don't recall the name of the company but I remember he spelled it and it had 3 letters).
He wanted to talk to the owner, he was not here, and then he asked for is cell phone number. I didn't give it and suggested an e-mail message instead. I was starting to give him the email adress, and he said " I'll call another time", and just hung up. He was rude.
After the call I decided to search for this phone number to try to identify the company, and then I found this site.
We are a smal IT company, in Lisbon, Portugal.- Caller: Mike from "a 3 letters company"

- solo from Poland replies to GTG RepresentativeI want to contact people for Poland who had contact with GTG at mwi(malpa)neostrada.pl
Thanks - From NorwayI received a call today on my cell phone here in Norway. The person presented himself as Mr Jim Fox from the States. As he had a strong Russian/Italian accent I got suspicious right away. I have received calls from the same or similar numbers before and understand that these calls are all attempts of fraudulent behaviour. To my question of why he had such a strong accent if his name was Jim Fox his answer was that he was originally Russian with the name Ivan but used Jim in the States. Obviously bogus. He wanted to give me an investment opportunity, same approach as previous times. I heard a lot of noise (telephone voices) in the background which again doesn't make sense as he called me at 10am Norway time (that would be 03am New York time). Be aware, this is a hoax and nothing to be involved in.

- MikeI've also got a phone call from theirs secretary and then agent. out of interest, I've listed to what he has to say. The guy offered atractive offer for GTG shares, almost 600% return in about 12 months ;) Of course its a scam, I'm just wondering why are they looking for suckers in Poland, maybe in USA people buy that, but no one in Poland would fall for that.

- Vincenzo- Italia| 1 replyI have a question...
Do any of you have and factual evidence? Because All of this assumptive speculation you are all gossiping about is irrevocable, it seems as if you all have too much time on your hands. If you are not interested, tell the company no thank you, and go on with your life.
I can tell you first hand, I have invested with the Senior Account Executive of This company, while he represented another company, in the past and he has made me significant gains in the USA. Multiple times, may I add. Now he has called me about this, as his most recent opportunity, and if I had more money available to invest with him, I would have. Now I own shares, I am part-owner of this company, and I do not appreciate what is being said about it. I have met them, and they have met my family, I have also walked through the Facility in Florida. And I am very excited.
Cannot wait until we go public! (It's Just around the corner) =) - John replies to deleted postI'am also an investor with the company Global Med. I 'am very pleased and satisfied with GTG investor relations department, working with Jason Mathius who is very professional. The company is active status in the state of Florida and I also recieved share certificates.
- derick replies to Vincenzo- Italiahow do you mean you are a part owner or just a share owner i do think they are also a good company what the name of the other company he represented think you are right in saying its all gossip and they have no idea what they are talking about

- EU BALLERAll these guys sound like women/ mice to me. If u don't have the guts to do it -it's OK! but telling your pathetic war stories how that company is fake, bogus etc.is ridiculous. Just face it! You are bunch of average people trying to blame on anyone who gives u an opportunity to make more money. Lets be honest -99% of you just don't have funds to invest thinking that everybody wants to steal from u. Now i got approached by that company and i was super negative about it. After i did it the company paid for my family to visit for a weekend / plane tickets and hotel/ WOW!!! Guys u have no idea what you are talking about!!! THE company is AWESOME- meaning i met doctors, management, etc.So before u say anything do your homework!!!
Have a nice day!- Caller: GTG
- Dr. PatelThis is a bogus site. We happen to be working with GTG and they are great people with very interesting products. I find it interesting that such baseless content can be posted without repercussions to those bloggers. I’ve asked the company to seek action against 800 notes.

- ZebraSpent about an hour of my free (and their "working") time having fun to talk with these guys (GTG Medical). I was presented with an incredible opprtunity - please transfer your cash to us and we will send you a share certificate, everything personally guaranteed by the caller, "ACTIVE" company IN THE UNITED STATES - the most regulated market in world. Will go public soon, expect to make 800% value growth bla bla.. Technologies, team, professionals, doctors, minimal invasive surgery, implants (reading from screen) etc. Checked out their website - the guys have put in a good effort - fragment of "business plan", investment contract (honestly including a clause that the investor acknowledges that the shares are not registered or traded anywhere and it is ok to lose that investment completely), nice clipart etc.
I am really wondering what kind of fools are they trying to find. I'm in Latvia, and anyone stupid enough to "invest" in such deeds (which needs free cash and normal English knowledge btw) would have long ago parted from everything in a local casino. For you GTG guys reading this - we have a long and painful experience of respectful businesses cleverly robbing people. We trust noone. Period. Please don't waste your time calling to Latvia, won't make any business here.
When after that ~hour I finally told what I'm thinking (complete BS and scam), the caller said like "next time you are called with an investment opportunity and are not interested, please say so, so that we don't waste peoples time, somebody is trying to make a honest living here" :D.- Caller: +19413880044
