This number keeps robo-dialing the law firm where I work - we can tell it's spam calling as the calls come in on ALL our phone lines - front line and ALL back lines too.  First one call, several seconds later a second call, then it rotates down ALL phone lines.  When I call this number back there is a recorded message that states the phone line is disconnected or out-of-service but the message is NOT from the phone company.  I am getting ready to report this to the Calif. Attorney General.  Anyone else who has had trouble with these scammers, please also report this phone number to their states Attorney General.  If enough complaints are filed, they WILL take action but it takes LOTS of complaints FIRST.

We just added a new line to our business and this number calls with dead air on the other end.  Don't know the origin yet.

A woman called and asked for the Dr. by his first name. When I stated that he was not available, she then asked for the office manager. I asked who is calling? She said "Merchant Services". I asked what this is in regard to? She said "I have some information for the merchant account" I asked her if she was with (our bank and processor). She said no. I said take us off your list please. She said "we don't have a list" and the line went dead. I called the number back and it is not a working number.

A woman called us as well asking for a person here by their first name. Not sure where they get the name from. She says she is from merchant services. I have recieved this call before and tell her we are not interested and hang up.

It's Google.

I got a call from this number.  It was obviously a robocall, because there was nobody at the other end.

This is from Merchant Services.  http://www.merchantsvcs.com  They are a ccard processing company, owned by First Data. They will not stop calling, no matter what. I live 1000 miles away, don't own a company, want/need their services or enjoy harassment. After receiving almost daily calls on all my law office lines for over a year from 949 238 3141, I finally went online and found this and other sites regarding others who were receiving unwanted calls from 949 238 3141. Thank you "Vegas" - I called 949 861 4000 ext 7075  and spoke with Brandi Boettcher just a few minutes ago. At first she denied the number belonged to their company, Merchant Services (which, according to one site, is a division of Wells Fargo?), but after confronting her with all of the information in the previous posts and other websites, she backed down and said "While not confirming that the number 949 238 3141 belongs to us, I am going to go to my manager right now and make sure you are put on the DNC list (I told her I was assured this had be done literally dozens of times before and yet I was still receiving calls and she appeared not to care) and you will not receive any further calls from Merchant Services in Irvine CA." So, if anyone is still receiving unwanted calls from 949 238 3141, I would suggest you call 949 861 4000 ext 7075 and speak with Brandi Boettcher directly - I think if she receives enough calls from irritated business owners and consumers, she may actually persuade the managers and owners of Merchant Services to comply with good business practices and institute a system that allows you to remove yourself from their marketing list. if you are on the national DNC (Do Not Call) List, aren't they are violating federal law by calling you, in the first place?

First of all don't call! Second remove my number! Third I better never get a call from this number again!

Are any of you receiving calls from 949-238-3141 (and other OC numbers) handling cases regarding a large HMO with the initials "KP"?  My thoughts were that this is an attempt to hack into my smart phone and my home phone.  When I receive the calls, it goes to voice mail.  I have a message indicator, but no message.  But, this forced me to enter my password to retrieve the message (which was not, in fact, left).  One time I answered when this number called, and a male voice asked for "John".  I said:  "wrong number", and hung-up.  My computer was also hacked, and I receive daily attempts to hack into my google account (which I am aware of since I have cell phone verification).  I just wanted to know that if any of the reporting law firms or individuals deal with KP, as I feel there may be a connection.  It wouldn't surprise me if they sett-up a "Merchant Services" business as a cover for this type of activity.

I emailed direct to their customer service email. I will report and go all the way to get them to stop. I've got the time and determination. They are the most annoying and I want to prosecute them...and will if I get even one more call :-)
