Unrecognized number so didn't answer. No message left. Blocked!

This is about the 400th time I've gotten a call from this number.  I've asked to be removed from their list over and over.  They keep calling.

They're not going to remove you from their list because they have no list.  They just have a robo dialer that calls numbers hoping to get a "fish" on the line.  They are scammers or, at the very least, unscrupulous businesses that ignore the DNC list.  Your best bet is to block the number.

They stated they are in Tarzana, CA (LA County), but the caller ID read Lake Forest, CA (Orange County).

I heard static, then a women said, "I can't work like this...." and more static, followed by the phone hanging up.

I block them every time they call. They change the number each time and call me a minimum of 4 times a week
So my locked caller list is very long

I hear "ya."  I have a call blocker that blocks 2500 numbers.  My robo calls have diminished to about 1 or 2  week.  If you've got a landline take a look at some of these.  Just google call blockers and you'll find a lot of them "out there."  Stay safe.

Remodeling Center / Home center / contractor in the neighborhood.  All the same scam.
