Called my home phone at 3:00 A.M.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a voicemal.  Caller ID stated the call was from Laguna Beach, CA.

An automated (Text to Speech) female voice stated "This is xxx bank, I'm sorry you debit card has been canceled press one to reactivate it."

This number called my cell but disconnected before I could answer, I called it back from a private number which said if couldn't be completed as dialed. I then hit redial from my cell phone and another recording said it is not a working number. This is the third call of this type in as many days.

THIS IS DEFINATELY A SCAM!!!

Called my cell at 3:30 AM and left no message

Received a call today from 949-281-2232. Automated message said that my debit card from Unknown Credit Union had been suspended. This is a scam

this number called my cell today 1:20pm EST.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

This was a well known scam stating, "Hello, this is the Sun East Credit Union. We regret to inform you that your debit card has been suspended. Please press 1 to reactivate it". Of course, I hung up. I read later that they then ask for your account #, PIN # and personal details. I don't deal with Sun East Credit Union, but many of my co-workers do. Maybe they harvested numbers from my employer? On a complaints web site about this scam it is described as a call originating in Puerto Rico. It also mentioned some kind of call forwarding device to prevent you from reaching anyone when you try to call back (not that I would).

Called at 5:25 am, my guess is hoping to catch you half asleep.  They said my debit card was being cancelled and press #1 to re-activate it.  DO NOT FOLLOW COMMANDS..THIS IS A SCAM.

CALLED AT 8:40 PM THEY SAID MY BEBID CARD WAS BEING CANCELLED .
DO NOT ANSWER OR GIVE ANY INFORMATION THIS IS A SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM

This number just called me at 3:12 PM and again at 3:17 PM. I searched the number, and I'm glad I did! I won't be answering my phone if they call again.

I just called an 800 number given to me by a dealership to do a credit check over the phone to co-sign for my husband's truck so I did not have to go there in person. 20 minutes later I received 2 phone calls from this 949-281-2232 number stating the same thing "debit card has been canceled" I was curious if any of you had just done a credit check or anything similar prior to receiving these phone calls?

Yes i aptly for credit credit card 2 day ago i just receive this call at 4:49am saying debit card has been canceled" this is Scam

same thing just happened to me, 5:30am called twice in a row but i didn't answer but i haven't applied for anything recently except for gov loans in the past 6 months?

This is the latest in hone numbers that have called, left no messages and when I call that number it says: This Number is Not in Service. That needs to be outlawed. This is BS. My parents are not well and I get the lucky advantage of having them within the 949 area code so then I frantically try to reach them to make sure all is ok. These companies that do this will be SO SORRY when I track who they are.....which isn't hard to do.
