Rec'd call on cell at 4:44 PM, CID was Laguna Beach CA.  I answered only to find out who was annoying me.  Only heard dead air, no one there.  Now blocked.

Yes just received one tried to call back says the call cannot be completed at this time

It was a fake policeman donation call.  Call id states "Laguna Beach Ca".

Called and a man asked for me by name then just held the phone without saying another word.  Blocked.

It was a spam phone call, United Police Force Association.  Trying to figure out how to block this number.

Cell Caller ID: Laguna Beach, CA. Caller seemed surprised I answered. He had a southern accent and asked to speak with the head of household (possibly because I’m female). He was soliciting donations for the National Coalition for Police Officers to purchase safety vests. He was persistent to ask to send a donate envelope to my home, to which I continued to refuse. Eventually he gave a spiel about being a non-profit and non-political party affiliated organization and gave a phone number (which I did not write down) that I could call if I changed my mind about the donation, then hung up. Caller is now blocked.

Good ol boy using old police donation scam, told him I was an illegal alien.
