Also got a call - - asking for my sister - saying that he was trying to deliver documents.  He also called my sister's work twice and called another sister as well.  WHO IS THIS !!!

Call from the company below asking me to call the number above to receive a special delivery. This last call was the "last and final time" they were going to call to let me know about this delivery. Had no CLUE what the number above wanted to deliver to me, but said it was special and I wouldn't want to pass it up. SCAM??  I have not one idea. Does anyone know??

This is a debt collector that calls itself Nationwide Debt Recovery.  They use a lot of different numbers but I know about this one because I received no fewer than 15 calls from them for someone I never heard of.   Interestingly, their web site is down so they may have "regrouped" under this new name.  They're probably trying to get an address.  The last time I got a call it was for someone from Alabama.  I told the man he didn't call John Smith (not my real name) in Alabama, he called John Smith in Utah!  He hung up before I could tell him to cease and desist.  Once when I saw the number on my caller ID, I called and they answered "Nationwide Claims."  I was taken aback because I have Nationwide insurance and they sounded like they were the claims division.  I called Nationwide Insurance and told them about this and gave them the number.  Don't know if anything was ever done about it but clearly a slimy, sneaky tactic.  Anyway, hope this helps.
