This is the # that CDA Law Center calls back from after initiating an illegal robocall regardless of if you are on the National Do Not Call list or not. This is the valid # that you can call back and get someone. The initial call will show a fake caller ID and phone #. The initial call will offer Home Mortgage/Loan Modification. This is a shady practice that won't give you any real contact information until they believe they have a working relationship. The working relationship will void the National Do Not Call list restrictions. Never give them your name or give them permission to call you back at your home phone #. Even if you give them a different name and number they will call back the number that  their system shows they called. They will  however ask for the wrong name which was given. Since they obtained the information by fraudulant and illegal means and can not prove they had an actual working relationship you now have the ammunition you need to file a legitimate FCC and FTC complaint

It is hard to actually pin down a telemarketing scammer when they show a fake/spoofed caller ID

A telemarketer may not LEGALLY
1) use RoboCalling (unless they have prior written permission from the person they are calling)
2) Show a false or intentionally misleading caller ID information
3) call a number that is on the National Do Not Call list without a prior and open business relationship.(There are some exemptions like emergency  calls or pharmacy or medical notifications or Political Campaigning)
