This is another of those calls trying to sell you Education courses.

I do not answer calls from unknown numbers, as I have been getting on an average 3 to 4 calls per day from numbers which have area codes from California, Florida, Washington state New Jersey, etc.  When have some free time I check each of these fishy numbers at this, 800notes site, first.

So I called this number 949-385-5121 back and for a change got a person to answer after a few minutes of hold time.  I asked the person to not call this number again and put me on their Do Not Call list, at which the person started of telling me that it takes 24 to 48 hours for the calls to stop.

I told him that my number is registered with the FCC DNC list so he should ensure that I do not get a call from them again and the 24 to 48 hours time frame was irrelevant.  The guy started playing games to ask if I was Nick and tried to pass it off as a wrong number.

I pointedly asked him to confirm that he understood that they would be facing fines if I ever got another call.  The guy started playing the fool again and kept repeating if I was Nick and would not confirm that he fully understood that they would be facing fines.   He kept at it repeatedly while I hung on and kept repeating to get him to confirm if he had fully understood the consequences.  In the end he said yes, but did not his charade of repeating the question if I was Nick.

Let us see if this stops.  I suspect that this number could be the 'flavor of the day' phone number used, because the other fishy numbers were confirmed at this site as telemarketers pedaling Education courses; because most of the numbers would never get connected whenever I called back.
