Received call threat of arrest about tax.

The message said I had "4 serious violations posted against my name by the local cops".  Really?

same thing. said i had four serious violations against me and would be arrested if i didn't call within 24 hours

Called and said I had 4 serious crimes against me and would be picked up by local cops...who uses cops, why not local police....would sound more official? Scam!!!!

Just got an automated voice message from this number.  When I called back I spoke to a man with a heavy accent who claimed I had incorrectly filed taxes from 2008-2012 and I needed to contact a criminal attorney.  I asked for his name and he said it was Mark Brown.  I asked to speak to his manager and he said he was the only point of contact.  As I asked more questions he just hung up on me.

Called said they were with IRS investigating. I told them they were a scam and to take my number off there list. He then proceeded to tell me to go f**k myself.

Just received the exact same call. They left a recorded voicemail claiming that I had 4 charges against me with the local police and that I needed to contact them within 24 hours. These people count on scaring you and prey on that.

I received a voice mail from this number and called back. Talked to a man with a heavy accent and he said i didnt respond t o a letter sent to me Nov 2015. and there are 4 counts of violations against me for taxes year 2008-2015 and a law suit is pending, that IRS will freeze my assets and I will go to jail for 90 days. WHen I asked him to resend the letter so I c an give it to my lawyer he hang up on me.

Guy called threating to have me arrested if I did not call back regarding my taxes.   I called back and he gave his name as Mark Brown and said his office was located in California.  Ask me to give me my telephone number so he would look up my information when I refused, he said good bye.

Same thing, four counts against me. Cops ?? will come and arrest me. HAHAHAHHAHA.  Scam.  Tell them "Norm Says F*ck Off!!"  I want to start this campaign: "Norm Says F*CK OFF!" ...So, that they know we're on to them.  Then hang up.

Why is there not a SCAM or FRAUD  "call type" in the drop down. Prank is way understating the fraud being attempted.

Agreed. This is a total scam and not even a good one. Threatening that you will be arrested in 24 hours if you don't call back a different number. People suck!

Called these a**holes 30 times til they finally got tired of it an picked up the phone. Indian accent guy threatened to kill my whole family if I didn't stop calling him.  He said he was "with the fu**ING irs"  and that I was a "God d*MN moron"

I asked him to give me exact details of my name and address He gave me an old address and my email adress! As I asked more questions he just hung up on me.
I tried to call the number back from a VOIP device, call would never go through.

Just wondering what do they get out of doing this?!
And how can we stop this bs?

Received this call twice today, I don't answer it went to voice mail saying the local cops will come get me due to four outstanding charges against me.
