This caller wanted to buy a drum sets without even checking it out. Nor do they want to know how to setup. They claim they will have mover come pickup the drum set and asked for my name and address to send me the money. Suspicious buyer

I  got a bogus text from this number for something I had listed on CL. Wanted to send me extra $$ for shipping, wanted my personal info,  have their ppl get in touch w/ my ppl. Replied that I was with the fraud division of my local P.D. and guess what,. I never got a reply. Imagine that!
The latest scam on Cl. Beware and be smart when dealing with ppl.

Same as above. Tried to scam me offd craigslist. Don't respond.

Tried to buy Lowrider bike by check I said I would text back later and when I did I said that someone else was interested in bike a offered more money... The replied within seconds saying that fine they will match the offer and need my info to send check well they have [***] with wrong [***]! Game on [***]!

I got message from this number at 11:30PM if the items is available. I responded and confirmed. Then at 7:30 they offered to pay by check and arrange pickup after check clears without checking the item. Something fishy right there...
