TOTAL SCAM  Called 4 times today...It's a fake call saying it's the IRS you're in trouble and you must immediately call them back...

A scam, called twice already this morning. Leaving messages saying the IRS is going to sue me and I need an attorney.

Got a call from them claiming to be the IRS. I called them back 20 times yelling at them every time and now they dont answer there phone. These people are full of [***]

Fake irs. They said the irs will sue you. First irs doesn't sue they take only. They don't call only they send you a letter.

The IRS reminds people that they can know pretty easily when a supposed IRS caller is a fake. Here are five things the scammers often do but the IRS will not do. Any one of these five things is a tell-tale sign of a scam. The IRS will never:
Call to demand immediate payment, nor will we call about taxes owed without first having mailed you a bill..

Demand that you pay taxes without giving you the opportunity to question or appeal the amount they say you owe.

Require you to use a specific payment method for your taxes, such as a prepaid debit card.

Ask for credit or debit card numbers over the phone.

Threaten to bring in local police or other law-enforcement groups to have you arrested for not paying.

Called 4 times today, missed call.   If someone calls 4 x in 2 1/2 hrs, it's a medical emergency ( i know no one from this area ) or scam.   After seeing these responses blocking this number.

Have received 6 calls today from this #......
I finally answered to find it was a "FAKE" IRS collections call, threatening to sue me........
I screamed into the phone that I don't owe the IRS and if they persist in this manner I will be forced to sue the hell out of them..........

2 hours later....so far so good. Haven't heard back......"so far"

Called and said he worked for irs and I was being sued for 60k and how much can I pay right now. I said I'm broke today and he hung up
