Student loan Scam.

Trying to get payment from me.

They left a message on my phone saying I owe money for student loan.  I never went to college and I  am in my late 60s.

A call came from a different number, claiming to be from "the processing department," but gave no company name, nor did he give my name. Simply stated that there were changes on my federal student loan repayment options, and gave me this number to call.
I am just finishing college, and do have student loans. But since he did not even provide the name of the person he was calling nor the name of his company, I'm suspecting it's a scam.

Scam!!!!!!! Don't give them anything

I got a call from a 414 phone number about changes made to my student loan debt. I Googled this number because ALL of my student loans have been paid off as of three years ago via wage garnishment.

I got a call from this number stating changes to my student loan dept. My phone rang one time and the next thing I knew I had a voicemail.

"changes to MY student loan program"...well having served in the marine corp for 30 years and never  having had the pleasure of anybody loaning Me "jack" I am offended by this form of obvious harrassment

A William Banks called saying he was feom the processing department,  but gave no company name. Said there have been changes to my Student loans.  I am in the midst od paying back my Student loans, but im suspicion if this call because they gave no company name. I googled the number and found alll of your posts.
This is a scam for sure. I spoke to Fedloan servicing- they handle my loan payments; and no one called me.

I got the same message left on my phone too. But he left his name: William Banks  & a reference #60307. I too have never gone to college or recieved money from a federal student  load. Definitely a scammers. Did not ask a person of the loan and Did not state the institution  the load was from!! I called to let them know they had the wrong person. It answered playing music, all agents are busy helping other borrowers. If you don't  want to wait  press 1 and you can please leave a name & call back# . They also had other option to choose from..like if you feel this was a made in error press 9 and you will be taken off the list

William Banks - Ref 60307 - Spoke quite well, but after seeing this and others around the web. 100% Scam.

Just received a voice message from William banks gave this number and reference # 60307. No student loans here.  This is bull. How can we stop this crap. Scam for sure!!!!!😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬

Same thing happened to me today. Definitely a scam, do not call this number.

Left message about owing student loans.

They just called me! William banks #6307. I called back because I am in the midst of consolidation my loans and what not. The lady offered to take 3 payments of 199, then 5 payments of 44 and then I'd be student loan free! Ahaha. But while I was on hold I googled the number and found this site, after I was an idiot and gave her info to change my FAFSA login stuff; of course not realizing it at the time.  I was able to change my password right back, as that is what she did.
