asked for the CEO, when I told him he was in a meeting  he said he would call back later. I asked who was calling and he said "Dean" then promptly hung up.

Company is Da Vinci Financial.  Just another scammer promising to get you funding.  Will probably just charge you a fee and never get you anything.  Don't fall for these out of town financial jerks.  Most of them come from Irvine for some reason.

Received call @ 7:32 am  Central Time. Asked  for my husband. I asked who was calling and the purpose. It was to "his life insurance policy." I told him we didn't have a policy with him, said "thank you" and hung up while he was making another effort to keep me on the line. There was no call back which is good because that is a busy time of the morning for the family.

Giggly girl, said her name was Casey ask for the CEO of our company, when I said he was busy she said she would call later, when I asked for a message she hung up.

caller asked for ceo. they were Davinci financial. would not leave msge.

Caller asked for the owner by his first name, there are two people here with the same name so I asked which one while I did a quick google search.  Saw it was a telemarketer and told him the owner was busy and asked if I could help him with something.  He said no, he'd call back later.  Pleasant guy, but he's definitely not going to get thru when he calls again!

Caller asked for a person by first name. In this case it was me. Once I said "this is him", caller hung up.

Received two calls in two days asking for the owner by first name. Asked if I could leave a message and he said he's call back tomorrow -- usually a good sign of a scam or sales.

Just got a call. the automated voice said something I couldn't understand and it hung up. I called back, they answered with an automated person talking about insurance. I hung up.

Answered, automated voice told me, "you are the only person in this conference," and disconnected.  Allrighty then.

Just got a call from this number (949-612-3940), figured I would check it out....also asked for owner by first name. When I asked if I could take a message he said "I would need to speak to him, it's a personal issue regarding updating his life insurance policy" and that he would call back tomorrow and asked what time is better morning or afternoon. After I told him he asked if he can email ME the info......hmmmm, he just said it was personal why would he email me the "personal info" to forward. Stupid me didn't get it until AFTER I gave him the email address!!! I could just kick myself! The only reason I fell for it is because the owner passed away and I thouhght it was real!

It's 4:45pm on the Friday before the Labor Day holiday (yes, I'm still here) but so are the scam artists.  Let it go to voice-mail.  No message left, of course.  Please call again.

I continue to receive calls from 949-612-3940.  If I do not answer, no message is left.  I've learned it's a scammer.  Any way to stop these calls?

Received a call from 949 612 3940 @ 4:45, also asked for by first name. Asked a couple questions in reference to life ins and hung up abruptly. Don't give these people any info.

DaVinci Financial called my direct line at work and asked for me by name.  Started to give me the whole song and dance about my life insurance policy and I told him that this was not a number that he was allowed to call and then hung up.

Called today to ask for someone who hasn't been with the company for almost a year. Said he'd "make a note" of it and hung up.

ELECTRONIC CALLS TO CELL PHONES ARE ILLEGAL !!!  I'VE USED THIS ATTORNEY BEFORE (BELOW).  IF HE CAN REPRESENT MORE THAN (7) PEOPLE TO STOP CALLS HE'LL TAKE CASE TO SHUT THE FINANCIAL SCUM DOWN.   YOU GET $2,500 PER CALL, KEEP YOUR RECORDS OF DATE AND TIME AND CELL BILL.   CALL HIM; HE'S X-MARINE, AND REALLY GREAT GUY WHO'S TOUGH AS NAILS AGAINST THESE JERKS.   CALLS COMING TO ME FROM 949-612-3940 AND STATES VOICE MAIL FULL WHEN I CALL BACK TO MAKE THEM STOP.   ALSO CALL CAREERBUILDER.COM AND MONSTER.COM AS THAT IS WHERE THESE SCAMMERS ARE GETTING YOUR PHONE NUMBERS FROM YOUR RESUME.  COMPLAIN TO THE JOB BOARD DATABASES YOUR NOT OPEN TO SPAM CALLS FROM YOUR RESUME IN THEIR SERVICES AND ILLEGAL TO CALL YOUR CELL.
