Diane the carpet cleaner called my cell phone, which is listed on the Do Not Call Registry.  I filled a complaint, and suggest anyone else getting a call from them do the same.

Just got a call from these clowns on my cell and then they called my husband's cell.  Filed a complaint at:  https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

Also tried calling it back and got the message "Your call cannot be completed as dialed."

got the call on my cell no., i didn't answer.. was curious about the no. because it showed up as +9496248357.. usually international calls come through to me with a + sign before them.

Called 10 minutes ago.  Same as the other callers; automated message from a Diane on steam cleaning carpets.  Did not listen to the entire message, however, did report it via the National Do Not Call Registry.  I don't know how they obtained my cell phone number. I do live in the 949 area code.

I just got a call from 949-624-8357...I didn't answer cause I don't know the #, but it seems now that once a day I am getting calls from #'s I don't know and they aren't leaving messages...anyone know where to register my cell# so I don't get random calls like this?

Also got an automatic call about carpet cleaning by Diane on my cell phone.

Diane called me on my cell phone with a pitch for a steam cleaning service. Extremely annoying!!! Calling back the number did not work. Please somebody find their true name and phone numbers and post them publicly!

just received a call from this number. the guy barely spoke English, but i was able to get another phone number from him: (888)242-5001. Ive been registered with Do-Not-Call. Now ill make another complaint with the FCC!

Got a call from 949-624-8357. I didn't recognize the number so didn't answer. No message. Filed a complaint on the do not call registry. Thanks to the person who submitted a message with the website link to register the complaint.

I received the automated call on my cell phone that has been listed with the Do Not Call registry for over a year. Thought I would wait out the recorded message (30 sec) and when I got a live person I asked the name of the company. They say they are 'Carpet Care'. When I asked more information the girl hung up. This has happened on my landline as well which is also listed with the Do Not Call.

People, we all need to file a complaint so these idiots get fined so heavily they'll start paying for the Do Not Call list to remove those numbers from their autodialer.

I'm going to call Verizon and have them permanently block this number - they do that no charge.

Also got a call from them, no message though. Filed a complaint though.

Recorded voice message soliciting Diane's Carpet Service.  Stayed on the line, pressed #1 when prompted, female answered and when I told her I was on a do not call list, she slammed the phone down before I finished the sentence.

Got 6 calls from 212-777-1645 and this call on the same day.  Happen to be leaving town and had listed my home on craiglist as a vacation rental (with no phone but street address) and hope it is only a coincidence and not someone trying to stake out my home and steal things.

Care. I too am on the Do-Not-Call list and have been since 2003. I did
what some of the other callers above have done, "Hit #1 to schedule an
appointment."  But, when I got through to the operator I sounded HAPPY,
I said, "Oh I'm SO GLAD to get your call, I've been meaning to make an
appointment but don't have time right now - can I get your number so I
can call back to schedule anappointment later?" - The woman gave me
Carpet Care's # (888) 241-6353!!!

I promptly went to the Do-Not-Call List www.donotcall.gov and filed a
complaint.  If you are getting calls from Carpet Care, please make sure
to file a complaint when you get one!  Feel free to use my approach above!!
