BS recorded message about Apple products and calling tech support @ 8776367302.

Had 5 messages today from "Apple Inc" (949-629-9717) telling us to call 877-636-7302 because of a problem with our cloud account.

Same thing here in HB. Same two numbers. Several calls today on my machine. Woman computer voice. Mentions cloud, Apple which I have nothing to do with. I'm going to report on FTC site FWIW. These jerk calls are getting more frequent. You'd think simple cooperation w/ gov and phone companies would solve this. What are we paying our phone bills and taxes for, anyway?

4 calls from this # today (so far). Told me to call 844-801-5496 for tech support. Will report as fraud.

Same as above, supposedly Apple saying to call about problems with Apple cloud and to call support 844-801-5496. Had 4 calls today.

6 calls today from these scumbags, claiming I need to call 844-801-5496 to fix a problem with my Apple devices.

Got a call from this number today APPLE INC telling us to press 1 for support now or to dial 844-801-5496

Received several calls from this # today requesting that I call their support advisor immediately at 844-801-5496.

I had multiple calls on 8/14/17 saying the same thing on my Cox landline to call 844-801-5496 because my iCloud account has been compromised. When I go to the Cox website, it shows Apple Inc 949-629-9717. This is a scam, Apple does not call you. After my wife visited the local Apple store Genius Bar in Irvine in June, we got a call supposedly from Apple support saying our Apple ID had been hacked and to go buy $400 worth of ITunes cards for cleaning up our iMac, etc for 1 year. Found out it was also a Scam. The Walgreens employee would not sell me the cards after he asked did they have Persian accents and told me a Scam.

Repeated scam calls. When I called this number back, did get Apple but they had not called me, said it was a scam.

SCAM!  Do not answer.  Spoofing the Apple store telephone number at Fashion Island....

I called the 949 number displayed on CID and talked to an actual Apple store representative (Fashion Island Mall) who told me that their # had been spoofed. She also said NOT to call 844-801-5493 as directed in the voice mail but rather to call my service provider and report that number to them. (Note that is not the same 800 # that was given to "in_awe".)

Called our house phone googled the phone number linking back to Newport Apple Store which phone number said our  iCloud was hacked which is sad to those that don't realize this is a scam.

Received a recorded message from 949-629-9717  showing "Apple Inc" as caller id.  I answered the call the second time.  It was a recorded message that said they are from Apple Security and there was a security breach in my iCloud account.  I pressed "1" to be connected to an agent.  The person on the other line had a very heavy Indian accent so it was hard to understand him.  He answered with "how may I help you'.  I said, "You called me, What is this about?"  He called me by my first name even though I didn't provide that information.  He said my iCloud account has either been accessed or has been attempted to be accessed from Mexico 40 times.  He asked if I had a laptop or desktop that I could access that is on the same network.  I said yes, but I honestly couldn't understand him enough to follow his instructions if I wanted to.  I told him that I didn't understand and would have my husband call later.  They actually called a 3rd time, but I didn't answer it.  I called Apple's direct line from their website and they said it was a phishing call.  I was surprised the operator on the other end didn't ask any details - like what phone # they were calling from.  but either way, don't answer or do anything from this number or the call-back number 844-801-5493.  It's a phishing scam!

Same as above.  5 calls leaving some voicemail message between 8:45 and 12:45 this morning.
